I retained the law firm of Griffin Alexander, PC to represent me when my condo board launched a complaint against me alleging that the interior speakers within my condo unit violated the condo association's By-Laws. After retaining her firm, and before she represented me before an ADR proceeding, I began telling friends and colleagues of mine of my situation. Many of them had recommended attorneys that I should speak to, on their advice, but I held off, and this was a wise decision on my part. The first time I saw Ms. Alexander "in action" was before a Condo ADR mediator. It was then that I realized that I had made the right decision in retaining Ms. Alexander. First of all, and this is an understatement, suffice it to say that Ms. Alexander is extremely knowledgeable in the field of condominium association law. When she spoke at the ADR proceeding, her persuasiveness moved the Mediator. Ms. Alexander is not only knowledgeable in her field, but she possesses the power to persuade another in the interest of her client, which is not a trait all lawyers possess. This is all well and good, and is an expected trait of a good lawyer. But Ms. Alexander is much more than a good lawyer. Ms. Alexander is an exceptional "counselor," which can sometimes be missing in lawyers. She is so level-headed and smart that she is able to "counsel" in a manner that is remarkable. She was able to use the same skills that she has in advocating, to "counsel" me. And counseling is separate and distinct from "advocating." Ms. Alexander is an excellent attorney, and good attorneys are everywhere (I'm an attorney too.) But Ms. Alexander is much more than a good attorney. She is, in every sense of the word, a good counselor and a down-to-earth personable good person. I offer this unsolicited review on behalf of Ms. Alexander and Griffin Alexander, PC. Highly suspect practice. It is basically "amateur hour" and that is all that is worth writing.

This law firm decided to take the word of an apartment complex that they had actually done their due diligence and sent a letter, (they did not, demanding payment in 2 days, mind you, the payment was only a few days late, or eviction threats. Ok, NJ courts won't even support that. During Covid, this law firm with no proof sends a horrible letter and I'm charged for it?? Yeah, this sounds like a very compassionate and logical practice. read more

I've had a very long & successful relationship with Griffin Alexander for both Real Estate & Corporate Law. My involvement with Bob Griffin & Jennifer Alexander began over 20 years ago when they were representing my then condo association in litigation with the builder over serious construction defects. As my unit was affected, I had the opportunity to work closely with their firm since I testified as a witness. The matter was ultimately resolved very much in our favor. I subsequently began using Bob Griffin as our corporate attorney to represent us in an environmental (landfill) matter which he resolved. We continue to employ Griffin Alexander as our corporate attorneys to this day. Bob Griffin has represented us in highly complex engineering matters with great success thanks to his methodical approach to matters. As former President of a different Condo Association, I hired Griffin Alexander to represent us as both Association Attorney and to arbitrate a challenging, long-standing HOA matter which the previous board & attorney had failed to resolve. That matter was successfully concluded thanks to GA. Griffin Alexander continues to handle my personal real estate & legal representation as well. Griffin Alexander has an excellent reputation which is well-deserved. I have always found both Bob & Jennifer to be very dedicated with a practical approach to the law. Bob is an excellent peacemaker and knows when to mediate or resolve an issue; however, if he needs to fight - he wins! And, frankly, that's what it's all about. Successful legal representation is critical and requires an excellent support staff to pull everything together. Terrible attorney practice. I held my rent payment since my landlord didn't repair a leak in my bathroom. Once the leak was repaired, I paid off my rent. Once I paid off my landlord, I sent this attorney a fax with proof that the rent was paid in full and to ensure no legal action was taken as a result of the held rent payment. This attorney billed my landlord a fee $150 just to process that single fax payment confirmation. I requested for them to provide a breakdown of the $150 and they said they would charge more to provide an invoice. I've never heard of a charge to provide an invoice. This attorney is a vulture. Stay far, far away. read more

I've been trying to get advice about a residential property line issue for the last 6-7 months. I believe I last spoke with the attorney about 5-6 months ago. I've sent all of the information that he requested about the issue and have left many voicemails in that time but have not gotten any response. When I call, I reach the operator, who tells me there is nothing she can do but put me through to his voicemail again. I'm done with this place. read more
