First & foremost, I would like to say that if you have been searching for a good lawyer, your…read moresearch should end here because Mr. Onorevole is definitely a great one! My husband was wrongfully accused of speeding. The state trooper stopped us and came back stating my husband was speeding 72 on a 45mph area. Then he proceeded to tell him "I see you have a point on your license, im giving you a speeding ticket. It is just what it is." UNBELIEVABLE. When we called the office firm number, he picked up and told us our rights, explained the process of getting evidence, and basically what could happen. We booked him because he was very reasonably priced and was pretty straightforward with everything. We didnt have to meet him in person but could if we had wanted to. He was easy with communication, always picked up when we called. The day of court, he was on time (very respectful and easy to talk to) and the process went smoothly. Unfortunately because my husband already had points from another ticket we couldnt really fight the matter because of the history. But he was able to reduce from 4 points to 2 points and gave us information on the online defense driving course we could do to deduct his points. Thankful we chose him.

-1 Star Google Review -- Jonathan Stone, Esq. Extremely…read moredisappointing experience. I retained Jonathan Stone, Esq. to represent me in a Superior Court matter. Unfortunately, I lost confidence in his handling of my case and ultimately terminated his representation. Among the issues I experienced: * Court-ordered case deadlines were not met. * The defendants, my expert witness, and my eyewitness were never deposed. * I paid for a supplemental expert opinion at Mr. Stone's direction, but it was never submitted to the Court or opposing counsel. * I repeatedly asked about a proposed Settlement Agreement and was told Mr. Stone had not received it. I later obtained documentation showing that defense counsel had sent it to him on March 16, 2026, followed by additional emails on March 18 and 19. * After terminating his services on May 28, 2026, I requested my complete client file and made additional follow-up calls. Because of these issues, I filed a formal complaint with the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics requesting an investigation. This review reflects my personal experience and the facts I documented in my complaint. I am posting it so that anyone considering retaining Mr. Stone can make an informed decision.
