Nice facilities, but off-limit to riders waiting in the cold wind at night. No place to use the toilet, no comfortable waiting area. Nothing here but misery. A 24 hour McDonald's would serve a better function as a bus station. read more

Tip... have an open mind. You will be with some different people. In the end we are all trying to get somewhere. Do not leave your items unattended, keep your children close. Have street smarts! Bring items To clean your seats off. Set an alarm for maybe 30 minutes before your stop Incase you fall asleep. It's definitely a cheap way to travel but, you get what you pay for. The bus driver was kind and helpful. He drove nice, I felt very safe. Honesty if you can get past a few things, you will do just fine. Bring a blanket. There is charging ports to charge your devices. read more

Took the bus to and from Waco, Texas to Austin, and was mostly glad that Waco's Greyhound Station was in downtown Waco. It made getting around all the more easy, as it was walking distance to Magnolia and other main sites and businesses in Waco. The space inside is on the smaller side. We arrived here half an hour before boarding and the place was packed on a Saturday. As with the Austin Greyhound Station, the only refreshments were from a vending machine. There is a bathroom and water fountain here. All in all, it's a fine, affordable option for traveling to and from Waco. It made getting around easy. read more

They're horrid. Greyhound has gone downhill. This review isn't for this location - it's all locations on my route Austin Dallas Louisville Memphis Nashville I went 15 hours driving distance and it took greyhound 40 hours to get me there! They had drivers show up to shifts over an hour late using their late Uber driver as their excuse. They had workers threatening to call police on disgruntled customers who were just trying to figure out the maze of bewilderment being caused by the workers to begin with. They called the wrong busses and had people missing their bus - purposefully- because they overboarded the bus because they were delaying trips for hours at a time. Security guards listening to music and smoking weed outside. (None of the security could in any capacity secure you from any danger - whatsoever) All busses were delayed by hours. But my original bus left me 7 minutes early. Two of the busses actually smelled so bad you could "taste" the fecal smell as you breathed. They don't clean the bathroom or the buses anymore. Bring Lysol wipes. Hand sanitizer. Fabreeze. He'll bring incense and crystals ... you're riding with the no fly listers and greyhound has obviously been subsidized for the poor .. nothing wrong with that but these employees are obviously paid very little and provably have not much in the way of benefits and treat poor people who need a bus as if they're in an internment camp for ICE. Seriously. Yelling at passengers who paid -- who YOU are delaying -- should get you fired. But obviously not at greyhound. read more

I came there to pick up my wife from her trip. The guy behind the counter is a great personable fellow. We talked a bit as it was slow and he kept me updated on her last stop or so. A bag came up missing and he walked us through everything. When it came on the next bus as he said it might he called us promptly as he promised. I. And to pick up the bag for her and the lady there asked him about it. He gave it to me and told her he remembers us. What a caring employee. I am sure not all people are like that and the amenities are few there but he helped me pass the time while waiting there for her. read more

Greyhound in Waco Texas is horrible. Do not waste your money with them. I will be rating them appropriately on all my social media accounts including Yelp. They left me stranded in Waco Texas at the bus station that was supposed to be open, but the doors were locked. You took my money, didn't provide me the service I paid for, didn't communicate you were not going to provide the service in a timely manner, and refused to give me my money back. I think that is called STEALING. read more

It's a Greyhound terminal. If you're here then you probably have no choice but to be here. That being said, the facilities are really nice. There's a nice assortment of vending machines offering everything from chips and gum to soda to sandwiches and coffee. There's also a microwave, ATM machine and locker rentals. The restrooms are standard, terminal public restrooms. Certainly not up to Buc-ee's standards but not grimy. So why did this place lose two stars? Customer service. I hate leaving negative reviews after only one visit to a place but today was terrible. I'm on a trip from Belton to Dallas. This means boarding a bus in Temple to take me to Waco so I can transfer to go straight to Dallas. The bus in Waco is almost two hours late as I'm typing this. I understand that this is no fault of the employees at the terminal but the way they have handled this situation has been absolutely atrocious. I and about four other riders have been up to the front desk to inquire about the time the Dallas bus would be arriving & each time we've been told "any minute now" - two hours later, those minutes have passed. They've laughed at us as we walked away & made jokes about passengers as they were walking across the front desk. Finally I took it upon myself to call the corporate number to get an ETA but that is something the employees here should have done once they realized they had a terminal full of people all waiting for the same bus. They've been condescending & rude as if we aren't paying customers. As I said earlier if you're here then you probably can't help it but it's something to keep note of. read more

The two guys working at the front desk are super rude. I asked if I could check in or if it was too early and one of the guys cut me off and said to go to the side with the other guy. I went to the side and the other guy just gave me a sticker but didn't tell me what to do. Our bus ended up being delayed and whenever someone went to ask for an update on the bus both of the men had an attitude. Never coming back here! read more

We recently(Sept.22, 2019) visited the Greyhound Bus Station in Waco, Texas. I went up to the front door, to enter the building, but the secondary door was locked. I could see someone in the bus station sitting on the bench, as well as a bus service employee at the counter. He never acknowledge that my daughter and I were trying to enter the building. We walked around to two other points of entry and still could not get into the building. The two of us were confused , but then someone sitting outside on a bench told us we had to go to the front to get into the building. We told her we had been to the front of the building but no one came to the door. She told us we had to "tap" on the window , so "he" could see us. I told her he was looking at us but he never tried to help us get into the building. The lady told us, in colorful language how ridiculous it was , the way they "acted" . She stated" It doesn't make any sense"|. As we walked back to the front of the building, we passed a lady on another bench. She told us it was ridiculous the way she was treated, after just getting off the bus. She told us she did not want to go inside the bus station because of how rude she was treated. When my daughter and I made it back around , to the front door. The attendant was finally there to open the door. As I approached the door, he blocked it. I asked him what was going on, and why he was blocking the door. I then asked him if we could come inside. He told me that he first needed to know if we were going to buy a ticket. I told him I wanted to get some information first, and then I would decide if I was going to buy a ticket. He then stepped aside and allowed my daughter and I to step inside the front desk area. I told him why I had come there, which was because after trying to use the website, I could not get it to accept the information I was putting in the search engine, so I could find out what I needed to know. After he rudely checked on the information I was inquiring about, he escorted us out of the building. I asked him why he was behaving this way, and why the doors were all locked. He told me that the doors were locked because " Every since "they" were overrun with "bums", the doors had to be locked. This man should not be working with the public. His offensive remarks should embarrass Greyhound Lines. Who is he to determine if someone is a "bum" as he put it. My daughter and I certainly are not "bums". Even if we were,that does not give him the right to act as a "judge" determining who is a "bum" and who is not. One might consider him a "bum" because of his attitude. He needs to know, that words can be used in more than one context. His despicable demeanor should not be on display , in regard to working for any company. He is a disgrace. The bus station in Waco, needs to be visited by upper management, unannounced, so that the "powers that be" get a full picture of the poor representation Greyhound receives in WACO TEXAS. read more
