Of course, I can understand it arriving about 15 minutes late due to traffic or whatever, but then everyone had to wait in line outdoors next to the bus for an additional 35 minutes to board without any explanation! The two Peter Pan team members just kept staring at their phones, while we all stood in line. Eventually, one of my fellow pending passengers demanded an explanation on all our behalf. The guys told there was a "glitch" not enabling them to read our tickets. (To add, of course Peter Pan has no human Customer Service available after latest 4 PM... and that's only Thursday and Friday... other days that closes as early as 2 PM.) Seriously? Peter Pan hasn't organized a backup protocol when the system isn't functioning? Would seem also apparently no 24 hour effective system support for their staff! Hey, Peter A. Picknelly III at Peter Pan! Are you OK having customers just standing around, waiting, and being later? Grow up Peter Pan! Your team members need suspenders to go with their seat belts! We ended up arriving 35 minutes late. Think, if I chose traveling long distance on a bus, I'm likely to think twice before booking with you again to minimize the chance of a similar snafu.

I first took flix in 2021 or so from NYC to DC. what I remember was being dumped by a hotel downtown in the middle of the night. and the cabbies weren't working because it was a holiday. I also remember no or a very inadequate bathroom. long time ago though. Last week I wanted to go to Montreal. back 15 years ago I would take greyhound bus from Mt. Laurel (where I lived). and catch the midnight connect to Montreal. It was a real bus station where I could wait and where I park my car in the free and safe parking lot for a whole week, if needed. so I try to book a bus ticket to Montreal today- Greyhound Mt Laurel gone but Flix bus replaces them. so I get a Flix bus that leaves from Cherry Hill Mall where I take a taxi to because there's no place to park your car and stand around on the street corner wait like an idiot with 50 lbs of luggage. Sigh of relief. the bus came. but- coming home from Montreal- first, Flix scares the living crap out of me by sending me a form that i had to fill out to cross the border. turns out it didn't apply to me. but...then I arrive in NYC like 4:30 in the am two hours before expected on a Sunday morning. my connection bus doesn't come until 10 am. the 31st "station"in NYC is nothing but a strip of concrete to park the buses. so nothing open and 50 lbs of luggage to drag around. I bought a train ticket back today as far as being cost effective, seriously the round trip ticket from Southern NJ to Montreal was $318. wtf

There was enough space in my 10 am bus on a Tuesday for most people to get their whole row, but I suppose that is highly dependent on the day and time. I found the bus to be clean, and the riders quiet and respectful. They do lose a star because the bus doesn't have any design on it and there's no company supervision/workers by it. Because I had purchased my tickets through Wanda Coach, I couldn't be sure which bus I was supposed to get on, and other passengers had told me this wasn't "the Wanda Coach bus." There were no workers outside the bus taking tickets and supervising the bags in the bottom of the bus. I was definitely uncomfortable leaving my bag out in the open in the middle of the street before the driver closed it up and we left. All in all, however, it was a pretty good deal, and we made it to Chinatown only a few minutes late because of NYC traffic!

I chose train from the airport to Philadelphia Chinatown. This was a nice treat for me. I love how organized the signage and helpful employees to make sure I was not lost. The train arrival time on the display seem to be accurate to the minute. My first-time arriving Jefferson Station was trying to leave the platform after seeing so many exits. I used my GPS to direct me to the correct street for my final destination. Then, I asked a police officer on the street level to confirm my location. My second visit was me leaving town to the airport. I asked a gate person how to enter the terminal. She was super nice. No issues here. I just had to remember to lift my luggage so I don't get stuck in the turnstile to cause any embarrassing scene.

AT THIS PLACE YOU CAN DO BOTH. There is even a trolley on the bottom floor that you can climb in and pretend to drive. At Christmas it was nicely decorated too. I don't think he will ever forget. We bought a bus , a girard green trolley and a subway (which happens to be the market line) We are enablers. If you are a train enthusiast , they sell $$$ model trains. And mugs that say I love trains ! And lots of other things. Oh and they have Thomas trains and a train table. I can't believe this place exists. MBTA get with the program.

Full disclosure-I've left my home twice since March 19th. Both times for medical appointments. One day I took four taxis and on another day I took two. All six times I called 215-666-6666 and a nice lady (Sharon) answered my calls. By the sound of her voice it's the same nice lady and she always treats me with kindness and dignity. She's very re-assuring and I've to admit that this pandemic has turned me into a nervous person who is easily rattled by what I've seen on the two occasions I've left home. The only place outside my home I felt safe was in this taxi services' cabs which are clean, sanitized and all of the drivers wear masks. I know I just told you that the taxis are clean but they really are and they send a text message when they arrive and everyone is kind and patient. What more could you want?

Looks as though a cab was my only option. Since I wasn't sure on rates, I had seen (on another hotels site) that it was a flat $28.50 to go to the airport, but after calling 215getacab, the dispatcher quoted $32 give or take. He could have been more helpful, but technically he did answer my main question. As for the information online, I didn't know what an egress fee was, or information about the meters, etc. for this specific trip, so I just bit the bullet and managed to get one from my hotel. There is a hotel fee for about $3 which isn't terrible, but now I can see why people go around the corner to hail a cab themselves to avoid the fee. Kwame was my cab driver, and he was cool. We talked a little but mostly had the ride in silence which was fine with me. He did start the meter by accident, but I was charged a lesser fee once we arrived. I felt the trip was shorter than expected, as it's been so long since I've taken a lot of these roads, especially to the airport. Once we arrived, Kwame was kind to carry my bag to the curb under the overpass so it would stay out of the rain. I know some people had negative experiences here, but I'm pleased to say mine was the opposite. Thanks to Kwame and 215 for getting me safely to where I needed to go!
