How they drastically changed my tickets!

I'm a disabled black female, who has a disabled older sister. I paid extra money to sit in the front seat of the bus because of all the medical issues my sister and I have! The bus company changed our seats two times. The first time wasn't bad, it was only one row behind. But then at 2:23 PM, I got another email stating they changed the seats again. The bus departed at 2:50 PM. I went directly to the bus station desk clerk, who stated they had nothing to do with Greyhound. But she gave me the phone number and said call right away. It took forever to contact them, and when I did, they were talking about giving me a voucher. I was confused, disgusted and overwhelmed all at the same time. I just wanted to get home. Not only did they change the seats to the last row, it was next to the smelly, funky bathroom. I was so sick on that ride, I threw up two times. Between a headache and nausea, it was crazy. I was sick for the rest of the night! And now the next day a customer service representative for Greyhound is stating they will only give me a voucher for the money paid extra for the seats. I paid cash, why would you give me a voucher? I don't ever want to take this transportation again. The rep then stated I could give it to someone. I don't recommend anyone using this company. I would like my money back the same way I paid it out! The customer service representative had no customer service! He didn't care about the customer or them being a disabled person. When asking to speak to a supervisor, he stated the supervisor is very busy and I would be on hold for a while. When asking for another supervisor, he stated he only has access to one supervisor. I was on hold for 18 minutes before I decided to hang up!

I was frustrated when my bus from Atlantic City to New York City was running an hour behind schedule, but now am trying to get on my return trip and the bus is no where to be found almost an hour after it's scheduled departure. No one has information or is helpful from other greyhound buses. Am I stranded in New York City? there is an option to take a photo for the review but there is no bus to even reference...

Put you on ANY bus they like!

Worst experience of my life and I paid $749.96 to be scammed and lied to and mistreated. No possible refund! No customer service, no direction, nothing! Won't even stop in my city. ‍

Terrible! Stay away. Anything but greyhound. They are so gross; they don't clean anything. Outlets don't work. Buses squeak and you can tell are not maintained. Buses are not on time. One was 1:15 minutes late, the return one was cancelled after 30 minutes past the scheduled departure time. Customer service is terrible!!!! They don't respond to your chats. Calling is worse. They will hang up on you and/or end the chat without warning, leaving you without answers and more frustrated.

I wish i can give 0 star. Our trip supposed to be 9am, ended up going 10:50am because of the delay. Almost 2hrs delayed. Also the 10:30am bus that was schedule next to us i heard that they ended up leaving at 1pm.. Bathroom inside the bus smells terrible. Someone went to the bathroom and the whole bus starts smells disgusting. I do not recommend this bus.

Never ever book a trip at Greyhound! Bus was scheduled at 6:00am I arrived at 5:45am just to be safe when I got at the station, a lot of people were currently stuck because apparently the bus for 1:30am didnt arrive. I waited for a few more minutes, hours and lo and behold finally there was an employee from the ticketing office. I asked him what happened and he just said, oh our driver never showed up so either you wait or go back tomorrow or get a refund. So stressful! And now i received an email that i cant refund my Ticket $120‍ this is a nightmare esp if you have important stuff to do. Pittsburgh to Nyc

Terrible bus driver the worst ever

An actual greyhound bus terminal would be much appreciated, instead of being dropped off at a corner stop!!

I will be bring a light luggage, from what I have seen, there will be compartments under the bus for luggage, correct? By any chance, you can tell me what the luggage dimensions limit is?

The bus we road had luggage racks over the seats that run the length of the bus. Practically no one had luggage - and the bus had very few passengers, so luggage probably won't be a problem. And, I do remember that there is storage from the outside… Read more

They handled our pickup from LGA to our Midtown hotel and later our return trip back to the airport, and both rides were flawless. This was truly 5-star service and one part of the trip I didn't have to worry about at all. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, communication was clear, and everything ran exactly on time. It was worth every penny compared to mass transit or other ride services. What really set them apart was their customer service. When we were dropped off at the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in the car. Umar went out of his way to drive all the way back around and personally return the phone to us--no hesitation, no attitude, just genuine care and professionalism. I can't recommend Precision NY Chauffeur Service enough. If you want reliable, stress-free transportation in NYC, this is the company to use.

Mauriccio failed to show up at baggage claim saying he could not get into the airport because of construction. There was a lot of construction but there were four other limo drivers with signs for their customers. He called and said to meet him outside and that he would be there in 3 minutes. He called again after about 5 minutes saying we were not on the ground floor outside the baggage claim, which we were. He told us to go into the parking garage. We lugged two suitcases, one garment bag, and three under the seat sports bags into the parking garage. We struggled to get our luggage into the parking garage, which was deserted. After a wait of 10 minutes or so, he called to say he couldn't find us and could we send our coordinates on WhatsAPP. I said I did not know how to do that. He again wanted to know where we were. I told him that I had passed Uber pickup spots. He said he would pick us up there. We struggled to get our luggage to the Uber pickup spots. He arrived about 10 minutes later. He stopped blocking traffic and helped to load our luggage. It would have been easier, cheaper, and quicker to use Uber. By this time having stood outside for more than half an hour, we were frozen (It was winter.) Limo Star NY refunded our $30 for failing to pick us up inside but this is the second time we have booked inside pickup and not gotten inside pick up due to 'construction'. but that time it was La Guardia.

(Full disclaimer - I regularly transfer at this station from/to my 2/3 train to home.) It's not your original 1904 subway station, baby! In 1917, the Dual Contracts between at the time separately run subway lines created the first Times Square connections, leading to today's massive modernized setup now all run by MTA with improved signage and numerous countdown clocks to help identify those next trains. But wait, my reco! While you may be in a rush to or from Times Square or connecting to your next subway line, it's worth making time to check out the treasures at this station!!! Amazingly, the MTA has put money towards what is in essence a Times Square Subway Station 24/7 museum of public art with 8 awesome works: + Norman B. Colp's "The Commuter's Lament" or "A Close Shave" 1991 - Overhead beams along the 42nd St. passageway from the 8th Avenue Lines entering this Times Square Station, the Bronx conceptual artist employed messaging inspired by an old Burma Shave ad, that reads in sequence "Overslept", "So tired", "If late", "Get fired", "Why bother?", "Why the pain?", "Just go home", "Do it again", then picture of a bed. + Roy Lichtenstein's "Times Square Mural" 1994 (designed 1990, installed 2002) - Perched high in the station's Times Square entrances' tall central hall, a long porcelain enamel on steel. pop art portrayal of a futuristic train going through the station in his iconic, signature, comic book style. + Jacob Lawrence's "New York in Transit" 2001 - The "dynamic cubism" artist's figurative mosaic of straphangers and their everyday activities around town. + Jack Beal's "The Return of Spring" 2001 and "The Onset of Winter" 2005 - Both of these American realist painter's mosaics reimagining the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades in modern times. They're dually bright homages, respectively, to filmmaking when this subway station becomes the location set as well as to the life above a station entrance with street repairmen and a fruit stand. Note, in one, her descent down and, in the other, the man offering a Pomegranate, a fruit Greeks associated with the Underworld, to people by the subway stairs. + Toby Buonagurio's "Times Square Times: 35 Times" 2005 - The Native New York sculptor's 35 unique, glazed ceramic shadow boxes that depict different delightful motifs connected to this central neighborhood either related to the performing arts, fashion, or general life. + Jane Dickson's "Revelers" 2008 - The American painter's Murano glass mosaics of New Year's Eve celebrators, some with horns, etc., dressed for the occasion. + Nick Cave's "Each One, Every One, Equal All" 2022 - This multi-talented sculptor, dancer and performing artist created the clusters of vibrant mosaics and video images that extend outside and inside the entrance closest to the S Shuttle plus along new the tunnel to the 6th Avenue lines. The figures in this extensive work are derived from his "Soundsuit" decorative sculptured costumes that allow the wearer to mask their identity as to race, gender, and class, thereby creating both a freedom for them as well as a state in which onlookers will observe these individuals with no prejudice. * All access at this Times Square station between 1,2,3,7,N,Q,R,W and S 42nd St Shuttle trains are ADA compliant. Nevertheless, the B/D/F/M 6th Avenue lines' 42nd Street-Bryant Park Station via the brand new S Shuttle train platform tunnel and A/C/E 8th Avenue Lines via the old passageway to 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal Station still do not have in-system ADA compliant access from this station. Perhaps one day they'll build elevators to those 6th Avenue trains or a better ramp to complement the steep one to the 8th Avenue trains.

He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.
