Where do I begin? We already know from previous reviews that employees are rude even when you are pleasant with them. In Mobile, Alabama, I actually saw an employee kick a passenger on his obviously injured foot because he did not go to the waiting area that he specified for him to go to. I asked him to apologize to the man but he tried to justify his action.
My other complaint with Greyhound is regarding lost luggage. I missed out on a dream vacation because my luggage was lost between Orlando and Miami. The desk clerk would not file a claim that night, but told me to return the next day to see if my luggage showed up. I was supposed to board a cruise ship the next day, not hang around a bus station in case my luggage showed up. I could not afford round trip airfare and a cruise, so I decided to go by bus. I filed a claim in August, nearly 3 months ago. I was told 3 weeks ago that my luggage had been located in Texas and that it would be sent to the nearest location to me within 2 weeks. I gave them 3 weeks, then called to find out why I had not been notified to come pick it up. I had to go through the whole routine again only to be told that my luggage would be sent to the nearest Greyhound location for me to pick up. I am seriously considering hiring a lawyer to sue the company for the cost of my luggage and missed vacation expenses.
Needless to say, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT ON ANOTHER GREYHOUND BUS! read more
