I wasn't a fan of this greyhound! The staff seems under paid and pissed off because of it. There was this one lady who was talking to people like someone crapped in her cereal that morning. Her coworker had to tell her to calm down because at the end of the day we're all human. A lot of the times they will ignore you while you're just asking a question because the last thing you want to do is miss your bus or get on the wrong bus. The hardest part is trying to figure it out yourself or asking other people are just as confused so then you're stuck just having to figure it out for yourself which sucks. The bus drivers were no better, we got yelled at them too. Once we got to Tallahassee the driver yelled in the mic making everyone get off the bus and he ignored you if you asked him any questions, so yea! That trip was ghetto!!

    OVERWHELMING URINE STENCH.

After exploring all other options to pick up a vehicle, I was stuck taking a Lyft (no gripe about the Lyft service) today at 4:45am 45 miles to get to a greyhound in Modesto for a 6:15am 2 hour trip to Sacramento. I was COMPLETELY DISGUSTED. The bus #86873 smelled so BADLY OF URINE THAT IT BURNED MY EYES. I had to hold my sweatshirt over my face the whole trip. No way to open a window. Others on the bus said it had been that way since THEY GOT ON IN LOS ANGELES! Myself and others were calling greyhound from the bus requesting refunds. We were all told to go online. WHY?? Their job is to help their customers! WE'RE ALL STUCK on a bus REPORTING A HEALTH CRISIS! Take the reports. I would've taken a picture of the bathroom, but was afraid to open the door. And when I got off, MY CLOTHING STANK SO BAD OF THAT STENCH, THAT EVEN FRESH AIR DIDN'T HELP. I am 68 years old and immunocompromised. I rode greyhound busses 50 years ago when AMERICA TOOK PRIDE IN IT'S COMPANIES. Another passenger told me he traveled about 30 times a year using greyhound, but that Munich-based FlixBus acquired greyhound in 2021. And ever since greyhound's quality of service has RAPIDLY DECLINED. I've seen CATTLE TREATED BETTER. Another American institution destined to extinction. FlixBus will suck all they can out of it, then bail.

Just the garbage nearby my seating area

Bus drivers were all very unfriendly. Unprofessional. Pushy. Demeaning. Unhelpful. Two of them were actually mean. Speaking out loud to demean other customers. One of them didn't even know how to turn the air conditioning on or open the luggage doors on the outside of the bus. Only one driver insisted we sit in our assigned seats despite the bus being less than half full and no other passengers objecting. So, not only was my 4:30PM bus from Jacksonville (Downtown) over 4 hours late causing me to miss my other connecting bus but I had to sweat the entire journey and upon arriving in Charlotte, NC I learned there was no other connecting bus until 2:35PM when the late bus arrived at 6:45AM. I am very disappointed in greyhound and do not believe I'll ever take a trip with them myself or allow my family members to travel greyhound ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Hands down the worst travel experience I've had the displeasure of participating in so far in life. Thank you for reading and I hope this at least helps one person avoid the pitfalls of using this travel company.

This is where they directed me to smoke.

Very clean bus station, the staff behind the counter is the only reason they get a 3 start. They here hard to understand and rude. It took me 20 min to get my bags tagged because he kept answering the phone and helping them while I was standing there I don't no if this was due to short staff of just bad employee. A helpful tip bring your own food the do have a snack stand but the prices make air port food look cheap. 15$ for two hot dogs and a water

For my 66 years, the worst travel experience ever. Bought a round trip ticket to Hollywood Florida…read morefrom Daytona Beach Florida. The trip down was okay except when the driver was distracted and if not for the whole front of the bus he would have rolled into a car. The return trip was the nightmare. Had booked a 5am back to Daytona Beach and wasn't familiar with their " open email procedure and the driver wouldn't help and denied me passage. ( embarking from Daytona 3a friend had opened the email). Having severe medical problems and having used the last of my medicine AND MY TAXI HAD LEFT AND WITH VERY LITTLE MONEY!!! I was forced to make my way through delusional meth addicts 1/2 mile to a store. (Did I mention the Fort Lauderdale bus stop is not marked??? It's a bench in the middle of a construction lot, little lighting, isolated and ideal place for thieves and hooligans). Finally got help to get another ticket from a friend and 2 days later got a return trip to Daytona Beach. By this time I was in incredible pain without my medication and the same surly driver snapped at us passengers. When the time came to transfer a few of us made our way to ask the obnoxious driver if we had to transfer. Mind you walking 20 feet was not pleasant. He replied " did I tell you you had to transfer when you board???".We returned to our seats. He could tell from my crippled walk I was in great pain and couldn't care less. Please, don't let your friends or loved ones use this debacle of transportation!!!!!

I thought this is odd and asked the driver when were we stopping and he said that was out stop back there. I said you didn't stop and he said I wasn't paying attention and I said I was and you didn't stop. In all my years of riding the Greyhound every bus driver stops at every stop completely and asks if anyone is getting off and does not do a California rolling stop. He said I could stay on the bus with him and ride to Orlando and not pay and get dropped off on his way back or get off in Daytona and pay for another ticket and come back the next morning. I checked the price to come back the next morning and wait til morning in a scetchy neighborhood or take an Uber back for only $30.00 more so I luckily got the last Uber on the road and got Anthony who was a wonderful driver for Uber. The guy on the Greyhound did a rolling California stop and made me do a SpongeBob. It was funny in the cartoon but not in real life.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, book a Greyhound bus leaving St. Augustine, Florida! Better yet,…read morenever use this company for any trips, from anywhere!! Greyhound left me stranded on 5/25 in St. Augustine, after LYING and saying about two buses I waited for, one at 6:10 am, and one at 3:00pm. They claimed the 6:10 am bus "skipped the station because the bus was full already", and that the 3pm bus "came and left already, according to the bus tracker app. It came at 2:54pm." I was waiting at the bus stop with four other strangers, since 2:30pm, and THEY BUS NEVER CAME TO THE STATION. I had called customer service at Greyhound, confirmed I was in the correct pick up place a dozen times, used their bus tracker app, and did everything I was supposed to do. No one working in the area has EVER seen a Greyhound bus anywhere NEAR where I was waiting. Greyhound stole $55 from me, as a I had a "non-refundable" ticket - for two buses that never came. When you call their "customer service" number - which is located in a call center in India, they claim they cannot give you a refund as they are "just a ticketing center". The customer service rep will make you tell the whole story about why you want a refund, sometimes barely understanding or speaking English themselves. Then they "apologize" and transfer you to a "claims department that handles refunds" and then just leave you on hold indefinitely. No one ever picks up the phone. You just waste 15 to 20 min., lingering on hold, until you hang up and start the process all over again. I am now investigating how to e-mail them. I will not be robbed of $55 and lied to by them. This company is beyond disgusting. Greyhound bus company has gone WAY downhill. Do not use them - you have been warned.

Outstanding Service Every Time!…read more We have used Nick's Airport Shuttle several times now for roundtrips from Palm Coast to both Jacksonville and Orlando airports, and every experience has been excellent. Most recently, we booked them to pick up our daughter from Orlando, and they'll soon be taking our large group to the airport for our trip to Alaska. No matter the occasion, Nick's team always delivers. Using Nick's shuttle feels like having your own personal driver. The vehicles are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The drivers are professional, punctual, and friendly, and Nick himself is a great guy--a fellow Navy veteran who takes pride in his business and his customers. His attention to detail and reliability make travel so much easier. Update - October 2025: We recently traveled to Canada and returned on a one-way cruise to Miami. Nick's shuttle took us to Jacksonville for our flight, and two weeks later, he was right there in Miami to pick us up after the cruise. That seamless coordination made our vacation stress-free from start to finish. We love using Nick's service because it truly takes the hassle out of travel and lets us focus on enjoying the journey. We will continue to use Nick's Airport Shuttle for all our future trips. If you want peace of mind, professionalism, and a friendly face to get you where you need to go, Nick's is the best choice.
