Was treated like a friend day one by the staff and like a piece of garbage by the "Manager" day 2. Genius! Bottledrop provides a far better solution and much needed service! So much easier than…read morestanding in front of a machine and trying to insert bottles and cans one at a time. With Bottledrop, you set up an account by providing your drivers license and creating a user ID and pin code. In return, they provide you with an account and all of your recyclables get credited to this account for easy redemption. Rather than dropping individual items, you purchase a box of green bottle drop bags. Cost is $2.00 for 10 bags. At the kiosk, you print bag tags by entering your account number (or user ID) and PIN. Affix the tag to the bag, fill the bag with bottles, cans and plastic. Then drop off at redemption center or the many retail partner outposts. I prefer the retail locations which rarely have a line. You scan your card, the door opens, you put the entire bag inside, close the door and you are done. When they process the bag, the corresponding redemption credit goes to your account. The only reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is because their Kiosk and written procedures leave off valuable info. So I will save you the trouble. 1. The Kiosks are located inside the Partner Retail store. The bottle drop is outside the store. 2. After you get your ID card at the Kiosk, immediately print out ten bag tags. At many locations you can not print tags outside where you drop the bags so get tags while inside at the Kiosk to avoid going back and forth. 3. While inside the store, buy the box of ten bags. 4. Put the tags inside the box of bags so everything is in one spot. 5. Each bag can be filled with up to 20 pounds of approved items. You can make 15 bag deposits per calendar quarter, I've included a pic outlining requirements. 6. To cash out, visit the Kiosk and enter your account number and PIN. I used to dispise taking my recyclables to those dreadful, dirty machines, having to stand there depositing them one by one, often not feeling safe. Bottledrop has developed a painless and efficient system. Now that I have my account, bags and tags - plus know of safe and convenient drop off locations at partner retail sights - it's a breeze!

I live at MonteVista in Beaverton and we've had ZipEco at our complex for almost a month now and I…read morehave been so pleased with the service. I hated taking my recycling and trash down when it gets full because there is only one trash area in my complex and it was a major wreck! Now that ZipEco is offered to us I love "trash day". The person working our route is always here right at 7pm so I can bring in the receptacle before I head to sleep for the night. The instructions for use are well explained and easy to do, and nightly service makes it easy to stay on top of your housework. Before my roommates and I would stuff the trash so full we could barely close it because none of us wanted to take the trash down the stairs and then fight for space in the full dumpster. My neighbors never flattened their cardboard boxes down so the recycling was a nightmare every week. Now with the rules ZipEco has in place they have to flatten the boxes and recycle correctly if they want it to be taken! ZipEco was the best idea my management has ever had, I appreciate this company so much, they make the worst part of housework way easier for me.
