The entire staff of this particular bottle drop has an antagonist and counterproductive attitude towards the population that they serve. As a disabled veteran I expect that policies that do not serve a viable purpose can be modified for certain situations. I presented this argument to them, and they stubbornly doubled down on a vague policy which is not posted, and demeaned me publicly. The customer service philosophy exhibited by this unit is unacceptable, rude and demeaning. It's not worth the effort.

I have taken in all kind of things from old farm equipment to aluminum window frames, car battery's etc. R.S. Davis has always been great with helping unload even when I bring in some difficult loads or dump trailer malfunction always been treated with respect. definitely by far my first choice in area for metal recycling. one of things that sticks out the most is when you bring in metals like copper wire, brass or aluminum and. you don't have it completely sorted right or there is a few things in the misc that would be worth more if weighted separately they have always told me and done so or informed of how to get the most out of the materials I brought in. that is honesty and I would would drive way further to give my business to company like this that. looks out and is about the customer. getting the most value out of there materials they bring. in. so i highly recommend rs Davis and will definitely continue doing business with them because I don't have to worry about being taken advantage of or having bad experience 5 stars out 5 I give them.

I had several people offer to do the task, and settled on a fellow who was supposed to come today (Monday) to take care of it. After the time he was due to be here he let me know he was unable to do it so I had to scramble to find someone else. I found this company Slam Dunk Junk. I gave them a call and spoke with a very nice fellow, Scott who said that they could definitely take care of this for me today!! I sent him pictures of the 'junk' and let him know what the other fellow had quoted me, and he came in right on par with that quote! All along the day, I received updates about when the fellows would be here, when they were enroute and when they had arrived. The fellows that showed up, Connor and Tony, were polite and respectful and got right to work. It took them all of about 30 minutes to clear everything out that I needed removed! It was dark, but they had headlamps on their hats and did a fantastic job!! (they even did this with a stand in truck because their regular truck blew a tire and had to go into the shop!) From start to finish this was a smooth operation, VERY well run and managed and an EXCELLENT value for the cost of the job!! Hands down I will be calling upon them again, when I need stuff hauled off! Oh and after they were done, I received a message thanking me for my business!! Absolutely STELLAR!!

She assumed my mom was…read moreyelling and rudely said, "Stop screaming in my ear." when my mother was just confused on why the other people on a different line were going first.My mom is one of the nicest and hardest-working people I know. The guard then screamed at my little sister, who is a minor, and I confronted her about her behavior. She responded arrogantly, claiming her job gave her power. She made racist remarks about Mexicans and people of color and even threatened my sister with a year-long ban from entry. The worker next to her witnessed the situation but didn't help. This encounter left my sister upset, and my mom, who is unwell, is worried about her. We deserve respectful treatment regardless of our culture or skin color.

I just love that I can take in a five…read moregallon bucket and fill it with pumice for $2.00!, and fill my yellow recycle bins with compost for $5.00. Last time I went I prepaid for the pumice and ended up filling a bag with pea gravel and when I went back in to pay I was waved off with a smile and a have a good day, they have me covered! On top of that I also needed to find a load of soil The 2 people in the office were the best. I was able to recycle, and dump concrete and get the soil all in 30 min and right next to each other just before closing time. My contractor sent me here to pick out my floors years ago, and I've been sending my friends and…read morefamily here ever since. It's a small, locally owned shop and the quality is incomparable. I also really appreciate that the guys running the shop are low pressure, and super honest. I hired a contractor to replace the hardwoods in my craftsman. I loved the floors but some of the areas were beyond repair and I didn't think it was really possible to just replace the damaged areas without it being obvious - these old floors have patina and natural wear, and I was sure they'd been sanded down numerous times. My contractors was sure he could do it, but said to check out the floors at Seaport in case I wanted to do a full replacement. The guys at Seaport were so technical with the specific sanders and stains and finishes, I can see why my contractor sent me here. I ended up going with the repair instead of a full replacement, and I am so thankful that they convinced me. They saved my 50+ year old floors, they look and feel incredible. They looked through photos of my floors and picked out unfinished boards that were not just the same oak type, but even had similar grain patterns for the replacement boards. These guys are true masters of their craft and champions of old-world quality. Craftsmen like guys at Seaport are the secrete magicians that keep the charm alive in old homes in Portland. And if you're in the market for a full replacement, they have samples of all of their floors, finished and unfinished, and a lot (a ton!!) of smaller swatch samples you can take home to see in your space and to show your contractor your stain choices. If you've gone to a big box store and felt some expensive hardwoods, do yourself a favor and stop by Seaport and really feel the quality difference.
