There are a few (optional) features that require paying an extra fee, such as the go-carts on the track that winds about underneath the play structure, but our boys didn't even pay them any attention: If it wasn't for randomly walking by while doing some Christmas shopping a couple months ago, we never would have known it was here. But now that we do, I guarantee this won't be the last time you'll see our sons running amok in here!

There's no structure, no accountability, and no respect for the time or investment of the families involved, I would strongly caution anyone against joining this program.

They have youth groups here so you have to keep that in mind if you want a less crowded lake. Also, if its during lessons there might not be an extra boat for you. But time it right and you can be out there nearly alone (row with a buddy, do I need to remind you why?), with glassy calm water, a bit of mist clinging to the surface and the calls of birds all around. Membership, if that's your choice, comes with a place to store your own boat and permission to use the club boats. It's a comfortable facility with plenty of parking and a spacious dock. I have a rowing machine that I use regularly. I knew being on the water would feel different, but land based rowing def helped me. You'll want that endurance in your heart and arms, and strength in your glutes for a long row. Dont worry if you're new, though.
