I go to Stewart's shops quite often and most of the time, staff and customer service are pretty great. The store in Lyon's Falls is an exception. Very rarely do I have a good experience here. I will come back every so often, but it doesn't get any better. The staff here do not care. No one greets you, no one is at a register unless there is a line, whatever the staff are working on is way much more important than you and your purchases, if you ask for assistance you get a ton of attitude. You also get the staff who are really chatty with each other and can't pause their conversation long enough to ring up a customer. Again, if you ask for assistance, you get a ton of attitude. Maybe it is the manager, maybe it's the location. Maybe both. All I know is that this store almost always frustrates me, and I avoid it now

They couldn't make up their mind on their ice cream flavors, and she kept giving them samples until they decided. Rugrat #1 had chocolate peppermint, which contained peppermint patties, and #2 wanted Fireworks, which was vanilla with a cherry stripe and pop rocks. She loved it! Dad and I had to use the facilities, and the girls started to play with some light up balls. I told them to put them back and the lady said "oh, they can play with them while they're here." Cones are 1.98, and quite delicious. They seemed to have a good assortment of provisions and the gas was priced lower than the local competition, so all in all it was a good stop - and our last stop on the way to camp.

Why I'm writing this is because this Stewarts is EXEMPLARY. It is *spotlessly* clean, including the bathrooms. The hot dog and self serve food center is constantly being cleaned, shelves are always being neatened up. Why? There seems to be a whirlwind whiz of a manager who works there. He's a tall, sandy blonde haired fella who is a blur of action, always making sure everything is presentable. I have never ever seen a Stewarts as clean and organized as this one, and it's ***always** like that. Whoever this guy is, he needs to train everyone in the company to do what he does, as he shows that excellence is possible. My local Stewart's is a mess...this one is amazing. And give him a raise! This is a VERY busy Stewarts and all the staff seem on their toes, doing a good job in the midst of chaotic customers. FIVE STARS!!

We were coming back from a weekend trip to Inlet, NY and Fourth Lake. We stopped here to get air in…read morethe tires. I looked up at the sign and looked at my coffee cup and noticed they had the same logo. I had purchased the coffee at the Blue Line Coffee Shop in Inlet and this was the Blue Line Market in Blue Mt. Lake. The coffee shop always has good coffee so I figured they would have good food here. We decided to have lunch. They had 3 chalkboard menus one with breakfast, one with sandwiches and one with pizza. I ordered a ham and Swiss with Adirondack mustard. My son asked for a pizza but she said they don't sell slices only whole pies and it would take 20 minutes to prepare so he got a sandwich, my husband got roast beef and horseradish. The sandwiches were served with kettle chips and a pickle. The food came out quickly and was brought to our table. We got some drinks from the cooler including Battenkill dairy chocolate milk. They have pastries in the case and some other snacks. They also have an ice cream window. In addition to food they have some nice souvenirs including items with their special Adirondack logo. I would stop again on the way to and from this part of the Adirondacks.
