I called five tree service companies to remove dead trees from my yard. One was closed until March, the other called me back 3 days later, the third one never called back. and the fourth one gave me an estimate but they seemed totally disinterested in the job. I called Greg on a Saturday to leave a message and he answered the phone. Greg arranged to stop by the next day (Sunday). He said he would call me before he came out and he did. We agreed on a price and Greg said he would show up the following morning at 8:30AM with a total crew of 4 guys. At 8:25AM on Monday, he showed up with his crew and they got to work. They took down a 50 foot tree and 3 smaller trees in about an hour, cut up and left me the wood I requested for my fireplace, removed all the branches, swept and blew the driveway clear and cleaned up everything else. Not sure you can get better service or responsiveness from a business, especially one that requires a high level of equipment investment, experience and skill. Wow. We called two tree services to remove a large pine tree in our front yard. Greg stopped by that day and left his card and called after work hours later that night to discuss the quote. He explained the cost options and any obstacles he noticed on his walkthrough. My wife and I discussed it that night (Thursday), called him Friday morning and were scheduled for the following day. I had a question later in the afternoon and Greg not only answered my question (permitting), but explained the reason behind his answer as well and exactly what to expect when he and his team arrived. We expected them between 8-12, they arrived at 8:35 and after meeting a very cheerful, warm Greg he got to business and was up the tree in five minutes. Literally an hour later the crew was sweeping up the last of the debris into a tidy pile, we shook hands once again and they were on their way. Greg and his crew just left our house to take down a 35-40 ft pine in the front yard. My wife and I were afraid of the tree falling on our house or the neighbors house by the way it was leaning. Got a great feel from their website, friendly communication from calling to set up the appointment, and excellent and super fast service from Greg and the guys. Called on Monday morning and the next morning, its gone. Took them about 45 minutes to take this monstrosity down. They were clean, efficient, and a great bunch of guys to work with. I will without question be calling upon them again for any tree service needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the same great service that we received. This company is absolutely incredible. They really know what they're doing and put safety at #1 priority. I wouldn't trust anyone else in my backyard. His prices are always more than fair. I think the bad reviews on here are from people who don't really understand how costly removing/trimming trees can be. It's a high risk job and they have a ton of equipment. Honestly, I'm not even sure how they operate by charging such low prices. Greg and his team have been always polite and professional. I got myself into a bit of trouble dropping trees around my house in Amherst. I had one fall the complete wrong direction and get hung up in a neighbor's tree. I called a pile of people, and Greg returned my call shortly after I left my message. 30 minutes later, Greg was on site and 10 minutes after that the tree was on the ground exactly as requested. No damage to surrounding landscaping/structures. The price was extremely reasonable, particularly considering the emergent nature of the problem.
