Very Late on this review I went here about a year ago today for my 17th birthday, the best experience ever. Not so much pricey, however, for someone like me who supports a tattoo school with apprentices and newer tattoo artist, this is definitely the place to go. Greg was not only very very welcoming, he was funny and talked to every single guest around him and had the whole building all in one comfortable conversation. My tattoo artist was joey, he was very friendly and was very comforting throughout the process as well as when he designed the tattoo he showed me and informed me of everything he was doing. Went here with my daughter for matching tattoos tonight and had the best experience. We phoned ahead to see if there was any appointments and even though it was close to closing we were happy that Greg told us to come in and he would take care of us. This little shop is so clean and they go above and beyond making you feel safe by going over everything step by step, even showing us the sealed tattoo needle and expiration date before he opened it. Best tattoo experience I've had! Me and my mom came in from VA Beach to get matching tattoos. We ended up coming in last minute and they treated us no differently, they were the nicest people and made us feel very comfortable and showed us that everything they used on us was brand new and sterile. They took the time to help me pick out exactly what design I wanted, they were able to add and subtract certain details that I wanted and it was such a warm and friendly environment. I took my daughter there today to get a small tattoo on the back of her neck. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. The place was super clean and nicely decorated. Greg took the time to explain each step of the process, even to the point of showing us the expiration date of the needle he used so we could be assured that it was safe - I've never had anyone do that before. He was very careful with the placement of the tattoo, taking the time to make sure it was perfect. I could tell that he sincerely cared about making sure my daughter and I were happy with her tattoo. My family and I went into this shop to all get matching tattoos. Greg tattooed my older family members with such careful hands that it looked like he was tattooing paper. Everybody loved the shop. The experience you get here is different than a lot of shops; It's much more personal. You never see artists with headphones in they are always as engaged as the customer wants to be. I went to get my son a tattoo for his 16th birthday. I met with a transgender tattoo artist the said he'd do the tattoo for 300. I agreed then once he photo shopped the tattoo it was missing half of the picture for one then he charged me an additional 100 just to shed the tattoo . So at he end of the day I ended up paying 400 for a very small tattoo . My bud just got his son a tattoo from blue horseshoe that did his entire chest for 500 . Now I feel I was ripped off so I contacted the owner which is a nice guy . He said he understood and had the artist contact me . Well the conversation started off with the shops hourly rate which he said was 100 per hour . Not thinking about the fact I took pictures and videos of my sons first tattoo experience which are time stamped I looked at the pictures and he worked on my son for 1 hour and 45 minutes which included talk time laugh time pay time (extra by the way ) . So I'm my opinion I'd stay away from this place unless you want a artist that really ain't customer anyway rather a photo shop tracer . I should have listened to the initial shop I went to that couldn't do minors but advised strongly that he wouldn't recommend anywhere in my area . If you do go anyway and see a guy with tattoos all over his face and calls hisself TT stay away trust me read more
