I paid Kasper Automotive over $5,000 to overhaul my engine on a classic car. The engine blew three…read moremain crankshaft bearings after just 942 miles. The owner of Kasper automotive fired the guy that did my engine and did not have anyone to fix it (Quote...I fired him because he messed up a lot of cars...does not surprise me that your engine blew). After six months, he still did not have anybody, so I contacted him, told him that I have a friend that will overhaul it. He told me to send him the receipts, which I did. They totalled just $2,500. I waited a year and a half....he never paid me. I am now suing him in small claims court for the full $5,000.00 Also, a friend of mine brought their Ford Crown Vic in to have it looked at....he said it needed a $2,800 transmission! They went to another shop for a quote and that shop told them they just needed a TUNE UP!!

From not doing the job correctly, putting the car back together with parts from another similar car. Being overcharged is another one. They spend time on the phone and talk to people who walk in while your being charged for that time.
