So I went here before Covid and last visit in 2021. I'm a happy go lucky person that's nice to…read moreeveryone until you piss me off. Well I got along with everyone at this clinic, I made them all masks and everything. When I got my last pain injection I had a headache for 2 weeks straight, no breaks in the pain. Then my blood pressure shot up and I had a seizure, which I've never had before. When asking Dr. Provenza, of course he denied doing anything wrong. Well since I confronted him with my problems and concerns, he "discharged" me for inappropriate behavior. This here proofs his wrongdoing to me. Found this out today and now that he has passed away, he can't justify his actions and lie about my "behavior" He wasn't the only shady doctor there, they fired the other one that was prescribing medication that actually helped me instead of covering the pain. If you want pain meds and don't want to fix your pain, this is the place to go, they give it out like candy.

Not a fan so far. In serious pain post op back surgery, had to get more injections before he would…read moregive pain meds and yet today I came in for injection and was told my apt was canceled bc they didn't get my PT records yet but I would be seen as an office visit. 4/26/19 They wanted until 3:45 to call to tell me they need to reschedule my 8 am Monday apt for 2 more weeks away bc they haven't received my PT records. It's been 2 weeks I'm still in serious pain and this dr is a joke.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had an appt at 4 pm. I get there at 4 pm. No one at the desk. By the time the…read moredesk girl comes to help, it's 4:01 and she wouldn't see me because I was "late". Desk girl said text says to arrive 15 min early. I show her the text (also attached) that does NOT say that. She said they must have changed it. How should I have known if the text didn't say that. Susan came out and was clearly available but said because you don't get fully checked in by desk girl until 4:01 she wouldn't see me. They are horrible to deal with. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere if insurance will let you.

I had an appointment 8/1/25 at 3:30 with Dr Kim. I was held up some on my way there. (School buses…read moreand rail road tracks (buses do the full stop-there were 5-6), terrible traffic. I arrived and was 3rd in line at the window. When I was being checked in they couldn't find my appointment at first. Then they stated I was marked as a no-show. I looked at my watch. It was 3:33. I was told that I had to reschedule; Dr Kim leaves at 3:30. My appointment was at 3:30. How does that work???? I've been a patient for 10 years and have waited plenty of times for over an hour. This was the most disrespectful treatment I've ever experienced from a doctor. Ever! In my life and 10 years coming here. I've had a lot of grievances with this practice. Oh, I had 2 voice mails asking me to come earlier. I'm way too busy at work right now. That tells me he was antsy to get out of there early. Hours advertised are until 4:30. I had to lose 2 more hours at work Monday to get my medication. During the busiest, most demanding, and MOST stressful time I experience every year. So, I'm working 10 hours a day this week even though my deadline has passed to catch up what I couldn't do Friday or Monday. If you are a new patient, go somewhere else! They really don't care about you. And NO ONE will return your call. One other person in line was there to complain about something but, I heard her say she left 6 voicemails and no one called her back. I left so, I don't know what happened but she mumbled that she's going elsewhere, especially after witnessing my treatment.

I've suffered since 2014. Previous pain manager retired in 2024, referred me to Dr. Kim & Staff…read more Staff listened, reviewed my previous history including diagnostics. Dr. Kim came to a final resolution to implant a pain pump. That was on 9/23/2025 and it was successful. I still deal with some pain but it is not as debilitating and I can function; enjoying a better quality of life.

Dr. Kim is a smug, arrogant little man with a God complex. He spent less than 10 minutes with me…read more He seemed impatient, irritated, unsympathetic, almost angry. Knowing exactly nothing about me or my very complicated medical history, he busts in to the exam room, proceeds to speak very loud and fast, leaving little space to interject. I mentioned that about a year prior, a doctor had suggested Lyrica, but I'd held off taking it, as I am extremely sensitive to side effects, and that one scared me. Then, he asked what I'd tried for pain. As I began to recount the myriad therapies, meds, supplements, programs over the years, I'd no more than opened my mouth before again being cut off, with him saying, "you either want to get better or not. You either want to take the med or not. That is what's available. Meds are what's tried and true. You have to weigh the pros and cons. Take it or don't. It's up to you." I had to clarify that he was talking about the Lyrica. He wasn't even the one who'd prescribed it. I had NEVER seen this man before! I was absolutely stunned at this response. I said, "I guess my Ehlers Danlos specialist and I were just hoping that you might have any guidance on any new therapies or anything in the early stages of development or any meds targeted to my issues... just curious if there is anything outside the box that could help." His reply was, "no, there isn't." And that was that! I've probably seen a hundred doctors over that past 35 years for multiple chronic health conditions. This was by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had. If this little angry man holds this level of contempt for his patients and his job, then he needs to stick to research!
