Her bedside manner is kind, caring, meticulous, thorough and relaxed. She is not pretentious whatsoever. I appreciate a doctor who treats a patient with respect and in a humanizing and humble way. Relating to a patient is very important in the medical field. If it's not empathy, it should certainly be sympathy. My biggest peeve with doctors in the past has been them primarily being very short with their time and attention to my needs and medical concerns. I don't like to be treated like cattle, and certainly not like I am a dime a dozen. I don't get that treatment at all with this practice. You get that feeling of trust and peace of mind when you see Dr. Grant. An extra shout out go to the other office staff that work at the Community Southside Pavillon - from the nurses to the front office reception staff. They are all super friendly and welcoming. It's not an act. They are professional, and they are for real (genuine). A big bonus that this practice offers is that they are open on Saturdays until noon. Dr Steven Levine with Midwest Pain & Spine has an office at IU West in Avon and one in Carmel. He's a little hard to understand only because he talks quick. He knows his stuff and has worked wonders for me. I would suggest him to anyone with back pain. His honesty can come across brutal but listen to him and he will help. However I had an appointment today and for the first time ever I felt like a doctor really listened and took every word into consideration. She walked in, pulled a chair up in front of me, closed her hands together in her lap, and completely tuned in. It made me feel calm and as though she truly wanted to listen and see how she could help. She was so nice and explained a lot to me and I think we're on the road to answers which is great! Dr. Webb has been my doctor for my pregnancy a short time now. I was referred by a friend to him and man-oh-man am I glad I was! I couldn't find a doctor who truly would listen to what I was wanting and so far he has been wonderful. His office is friendly and very helpful. I feel that they really care about my needs as a patient. It's becoming harder and harder to find that so I value what him and his office do. He's very knowledgeable and insightful. Plus, he has quite the sense of humor. He keeps it funny that's for sure. I haven't had any problems getting a hold of his nurse Angela, in fact, she encourages me to have her paged instead of going to voicemail so she won't miss anything. Dr. Webb also gave my husband and I his personal cell number for any after hour questions or concerns. I was shocked! I haven't had that kind of care before.
