If I could give this organization a 0 Star Review, I would. This review is in reference to the…read moreKennesaw location, located at 2293 Cherokee Street NW Kennesaw, GA , their poor unprofessional Staff, Loraine and Deidra in this office, as well as the organization's Managing Director, Sheryl. I first went to the Kennesaw location on Aug 11th, in which a conflict encountered when scheduling, and an error of best practices was made on their part, after they tried to schedule me without inquiring about my availability, become very defensive, and snide and patronizing. It was such a poor and distasteful representation of what Community Outreach Care looks like. At the conclusion of that disastrous event, in which Loraine barely provided a lackluster apology, I left the office responding to them, that 'this would be level of care and professionalism, I didn't know if I would return to their office, and would speak to their supervisors regarding the incident. The follow day, I proceeded to seek follow up in the matter, in which I spoke with Melody, who was quite apologetic, and supportive regarding the encounter I had had with Loraine and Deidra. Melody told me to proceed with my appointment, as scheduled. Of course, I follow her instructions, only to show back up to the Kennesaw office to be meet with the safe level of unprofessionalism, snide, and passive aggressive distastefulness that I was met with the first time, claiming that I told them I wasn't coming back. I am completely certain they intentionally left me off of their calendar to be cruel and spiteful. It is such a travesty that an organization who CLAIMS to support the community would EVER conduct in such a manner. Following my second incident with Loraine and Deidra, I insisted on getting their Supervisors name and contact information. I also followed up by contacting the College Park location, yet again, and insisting I speak with the highest individual in charge, which I was told would be the Owner, while the Managing Director, Sheryl was out of office. I was told they would give my message to the owner, only, and that he would follow up, "hopefully" that evening. Of course, I did not get a call for days, and will give credit to the fact that it was a holiday weekend. When I did get a call back, it was from Sheryl, who also didn't empathetic to the 2 negative encounters I had had with her Kennesaw staff. She was rather very defensive of her team, and didn't seem to care much about the horrible conduct of her staff, only saying she would have a talk with them, AFTER I asked her what did she feel was appropriate to do to resolve the situation...after all, SHE is the Managing Director! Upon hearing her demeanor, it is evident that Helping Hands does not truly care about their patients, and their encounters with members of the community. If you are looking to have a truly helpful, productive and HEALTHY service experience from any of the services Helping Hands provides, LOOK ELSEWHERE. So sad. It is important to advocate and exchange about the organizations "CLAIMING" to support our community and its members. Helping Hands is NOT one of those organizations.
