Literally the main reason I stayed a patient for so long (almost a year) is because I LOVE the staff! Kirby, Jennifer, and Keyanna are amazing. That supervisor, however, is a deal breaker. My appointment was literally 2 weeks ago, and I am STILL waiting on a refill. I've called the office 3 times to basically be told to wait until he signs off on a Tuesday or a Thursday. I have no idea what this supervisor looks like, so I don't know who to identify as the actual DOCTOR. HECK, I've been forced to take medical leave because I have no idea when to expect my meds! I've already found a new doctor b/c I refuse to be just another insurance card number to businesses like these. The staff really makes this place what it is!!!!!

Stopped going today…read more Its not a full service place - they have a different person for therapy, and a different person for meds, and no one for any medical issues. So there's no actual psychiatrist to see. I suppose that's ok for some people and I went there trying different meds. I tried to explain that I'd already tried 2 SSRIs for my issues with no effect, but we wasted months trying 3 more SSRIs. I was accused of drug seeking behavior my first time there because I suggested trying BuSpar. They told me that that's what people ask for when they really want benzos. So at the first meeting the trust was kind of destroyed and I never felt comfortable telling her everything from then on. They don't have actual appointments there like other therapists. Today I brought that up and the receptionist blamed me for that. She said that some people take longer than that others and that I wouldn't want someone to leave without getting the help they need, right? Of course, it's their problem that they can't keep appointments like other therapists, but if you mention that apparently you have no compassion for others. Expect anything up to a 30 min wait every time you go

While at Anchor Hospital my husband was under the care of Dr. Dhanani. FYI, I have 16 years experience working in the medical profession as a medical assistant. I have performed both administrative as well as clinical duties in a wide range of practices. However, I have NEVER encountered a hospital staff as unprofessional, uncaring and poorly managed as Anchor Hospital. BTW, the ER transferred my husband to Anchor in the middle of the night. I was not consulted. Moreover, despite repeated requests to the social worker and staff for Dr. Dhanani to call me he did not. I was told by several staff members he never contacts the family. After a week or so my husband began to have hallucinations and called me 3 times one day crying and begging for me to take him home. In desperation, I finally contacted Dr. Dhanani's office manager and DEMANDED he return my call. He finally did.. a day later. When I confronted him about NOT returning 1 simple phone call to family members he backpedalled everything his staff said and lied to me". He stated "he always does!" When I asked for his treatment plan and progress report for my husbands "reevaluation and medication management" he stated he was "taking him off everything except a low dose of Seroquel at bed time." Unbelievable!! I couldn't believe it!! I thought, no wonder my husband is hallucinating! Cold turkey, Dr. Dhanani decided to discontinue his psych meds that Dr. Pak put him on only a month ago! Never mind decreasing the Rx's over a couple weeks or so like an ethical, caring physician. I immediately contacted the social worker and medical director of my husband's nursing home where he was transferred from. Specifically, I notified them of Dr. Dhanani's unethical and inhumane treatment of my husband. He was NOT admitted for a drug addiction nor did he demonstrate a psychosis or hallucinations. In fact, when my daughter and I visited him a couple of days after his admission he was behaving very well! I couldn't understand WHY he was ever admitted. In conclusion, Anchor Hospital is the worst hospital I have ever dealt with to date. The staff is UNqualified and if they have a director in place to manage this facility he is UNqualified as well.

Dr. Beal, NPs,…read moreClinical Team, Therapists ALL care about, not just your mental health, but your overall well-being. They listen and take into consideration what is the best treatment for your wants and needs! I was misinformed a couple of times on separate occasions which turned out to be a headache, but I'm still giving 5 stars because Brennan, Esmeralda, and Bless have MORE than overcompensated for those mishaps! They have always given me accurate information, solved any problem I've ever had, and made sure I got what I needed. Those 3 are exemplar representations of going above and beyond, and exhibit passion for their careers! Every encounter at all of the appointments I've had have been very pleasant, and as an advocate for mental health, I always recommend this facility in conversation. We need more like this in our communities!

I scheduled over texting over the phone call with the clear and absolute intention of a psych evaluation for the THC card. It's written in plain English over text. When I come in for my appointment in January, it's a regular psycho evaluation, and no one knows that I'm supposed to be there for a THC card, so they scheduled me for another appointment. Mind you, this is all over text. I am specifically pleading with the scheduling department to ensure that my time is not wasted by coming in for a regular psycho evaluation, and that my appointment is specifically for a THC card. Of course, this did not happen. Not only is their incompetence costing time, but it's also costing me money as they keep charging me for these things!!!! This has happened over three different times! God must have a sense of humor, because the way the staff operates at Dr Eddie Beal's (Edible) office is like a bunch of forgetful STONERS
