Absolutely zero empathy, and the response was "We don't have any new patient appointments until the end of August and we don't submit claims to medical insurance, and if you don't have out of network dental insurance we can't help you". I again explained I have cancer, and this is for medical clearance, and she just refused to listen to me. Rude and completely unprofessional. I saw her the entire time that I lived in Cape May, and it was a superb experience. Prior to going to her practice, I had some not-so-good experiences with dentists and hadn't gone in a loooong time. She put me at ease, fixed up my teeth, and it was a wonderful experience (which I didn't know was possible at the dentist until then!). I also got my composite veneers changed over to porcelain veneers, and she did a fantastic job. One recently popped off (my fault, not theirs) and the dentist that put it back on for me had nothing but great things to say about how good of a job she did on the veneers. I reluctantly agreed and they proceeded to have great difficulty removing the tooth. I was then told, in a blunt and cavalier way, that it looked like I had oral cancer, needed a biopsy, and also needed to have every single tooth capped! Needless to say, this was devastating to hear. Being relatively new to Delaware, I drove four hours to my previous and trusted dentist, who told me how unprofessional this was and that there are many steps to go through before a biopsy is done. He said that it looked like I merely had a small infection on my gum. He prescribed an oral rinse, which completely healed the small white spot on my gum. He also said there were a couple teeth that MAY need caps sometime in the future but that overall my teeth were in excellent condition. I really wish I could sue these incompetents for putting me through all this. Clearly, they are interested only in how much money they can bilk you out of. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!
