The BLT sandwiches are salty and full of awesome, the fresh cream cakes are hard to resist, and the custard slices are cut far more neatly than mine at home. I'm not particularly fond of the chocolate numbers myself, if I'm tempted, I go for the rhubarb and cherry slices (super moist), and things like the Belgian buns are pretty snazzy too. A couple of things worth noting are- They have a slicing machine- so if there's any loaves you want, but are only capable of cutting diagonal doorsteps at home, they can deal with it. If you want a hot sausage or bacon sandwich for example, you're possibly going to have a little wait as they like to cook things fresh. If you ring in advance, you can avoid standing in the corner by the fridge of drinks for a short while.

All feature crisp crusts and great solid texture unlike the mushy industrial breads at the supermarkets. Their lunch sandwiches are a treat as well. The staff are friendly as well, but it can get very busy so a wait can be expected. The bread is a bit pricier than average at about £3 each, but you get what you pay for. I picked up a coffee walnut, victoria sponge and a carrot cake. The slices were huge! While I didn't get to taste the coffee cafe (though my nan says it was great) the victoria sponge was light and fluffly and the cream filling was extremely tasty. While I'm not a huge fan of carrot cake I particularly liked this one. It contained nuts so had a nice cunchy taste to it. I can't speak about the coffee or other food on offer (there is a full menu) it was packed on Sunday morning so thats got to be a good sign. Next time I'm in Warwick I'll be stopping in for a coffee and I'll let you know how it goes.
