I am such a sucker for a sweet treat and Krispy Kreme is most definitely one of my favourites…read more I have never had a bad donut from here. They are all made in front of you so you can see for yourself exactly how fresh they are. I usually go for a glazed donut which is priced at £1.45, ok it's a little pricey for a but it's definitely worth it. They have a wide variety of different flavours and a different selection of hot and cold drinks. The hot chocolate is one of the nicest I have had!! I have tried one if their new milkshakes which I personally found too sickly but if you're a chocolate lover then it's right up your street. The shop itself is very clean & modern. A little on the chilly side so make sure you have a jacket. My favourite thing is the drive thru, you can be lazy and not even get out of your car. Winner!

I remember seeing a poster for new milkshakes, they looked amazing, no choice in the matter out the door I go. This place is amazing, Doughnut all kinds, coffees, hot chocks and of course milkshakes. They even have a drive thru even better I don't have to get out of the car. A donut store with a drive thru, who would have thought that. The staff were very talkative which was great to see. I ordered a chocolate milkshake with a custard filled Doughnut a great combination. The shake was fantastic, very sweet and sickly but I enjoy that in a shake. Lots of chocolate sauce and creme to top it off. The Doughnut was nice to, to many to choose from next time it will be a box of 12 ! You can sit if you want to. You can also see all the Doughnuts on the counter. This place was very clean. Plenty of parking to. Overall a must visit, try the milkshakes I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Best latte I've ever had! Fact!…read more I arrived yesterday about half an hour early for a meeting, so I threw my bag down and studied the pretty extensive menu. I'd not been here before, so went with my normal Latte order to see how it compared to my other favorites. It came in a glass without a handle and looked perfect, so I was really looking forward to trying it. I sat down on one of their small but surprisingly conformable wooden table and stools, had my first sip and - BOOM! Absolute taste sensation! Seriously, this is the best coffee I've ever had; and I've travelled South America! I'm not a coffee connoisseur, so I can't say if it was a dry, dark, sweet or had hints of mahogany to it. What I can say it that I almost wanted to down it, it was so good! While I was waiting for my meeting to arrive I was listening in to the guys behind the counter. They were taking about doing a 28day brew and were discussing other coffee stuff with customers; they really knew their stuff! On the counter were some lovely looking cakes and pastries. I didn't have any but I'll definitely try some when I go back. This is a fantastic little coffee shop ran by coffee enthusiast - and the results speak for themselves. Best coffee in Bristol? In my eyes, definitely!

This specialty coffee shop in Bristol is not overrated; the hype is deserved. This brick-walled,…read moresmall space is tucked into Small Street near St Nicholas Market. My decaf latte was served in a glass and topped with foamy, yet smooth-looking, latte art. The taste of the espresso dominated the milk without being overly bitter. Small Street Espresso features coffee roasters from Bristol and the UK, which are listed on display on a chalkboard near the counter. The price was about what I would expect to pay for specialty, but the serving was a bit on the smaller side (my guess would be an 8-oz pour). Cheers, Small Street Espresso, for indulging my craving for specialty roasted coffee.

This Greggs was our saviour on hangover days as it was only a hop and two steps away from my flat…read more The Steak Bakes on a rumbling stomach was perfection. However, I personally find the pasties too greasy and weirdly sickly and yet again, the same can be said for the bakery products. Price wise, you can't really beat Greggs, with a pasty not costing more than a squid and the same for the bakery. This particular one in the centre of town is handy if you are on a long shopping spree but otherwise I think the bakery in Tesco's would be a better bet. I would however recommend the 'Jammy Stars/Hearts' they are really amazing, especially dipped into hot coffee. Mmmmmmmm (and a darn sight cheaper than the ones in Costas...they never notice if you sneek a couple in and pretend you bought it at the counter!).

    - As I was about to write this review, Russell Howard came on the screen with a gag: 'Well Sir, I…read morethink you need to go to your happy place. From the looks of you, I'm guessing that's probably Greggs.' This pretty much sums up the reputation Greggs has, and the Greggs on Queens Road has an unfortunate position amongst the endless cafes and bakeries offering better standard food. Greggs is cheaper and serves what is more comfort food than healthy snacks. But you would not go to Greggs for a healthy alternative and this is why Greggs stays strong amongst the plethora of cafes. When people fancy a bit of stodge with their lunch then their first stop will be Greggs and Greggs offers this in abudance. Their cakes are delicious and very cheap.
