I was a little sad I couldn't also get a slice of pizza for some reason. We got a beef pasty and a chicken pasty and enjoyed it on the train home. Very glad we stopped by for one.

Joe's Bakery is as 90's as you could ever wish for; bread stacked in the window, donuts on glass fronted shelves and a fly zapper stuck to the wall. But, as old school as it is, everything they sell is fantastic! I popped in yesterday for the first time in months and grabbed a cheeky donut and was greeted with a welcoming "alright love" by one of the staff. There's no sitting down and having a coffee and natter here, but you'll have a good chin wag while you order and walk away with some of the best baked good in Bristol. I'm a BIG fan!

They are all made in front of you so you can see for yourself exactly how fresh they are. I usually go for a glazed donut which is priced at £1.45, ok it's a little pricey for a but it's definitely worth it. They have a wide variety of different flavours and a different selection of hot and cold drinks. The hot chocolate is one of the nicest I have had!! I have tried one if their new milkshakes which I personally found too sickly but if you're a chocolate lover then it's right up your street. The shop itself is very clean & modern. A little on the chilly side so make sure you have a jacket. My favourite thing is the drive thru, you can be lazy and not even get out of your car. Winner!

I remember seeing a poster for new milkshakes, they looked amazing, no choice in the matter out the door I go. This place is amazing, Doughnut all kinds, coffees, hot chocks and of course milkshakes. They even have a drive thru even better I don't have to get out of the car. A donut store with a drive thru, who would have thought that. The staff were very talkative which was great to see. I ordered a chocolate milkshake with a custard filled Doughnut a great combination. The shake was fantastic, very sweet and sickly but I enjoy that in a shake. Lots of chocolate sauce and creme to top it off. The Doughnut was nice to, to many to choose from next time it will be a box of 12 ! You can sit if you want to. You can also see all the Doughnuts on the counter. This place was very clean. Plenty of parking to. Overall a must visit, try the milkshakes I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I had walked past the kiosk so many times but one day the smell of fresh doughnuts just stopped me dead in my tracks. There are some smells that just can't be beaten and this is one of them. You can get four freshly made doughy beauties for £1 and gobble them up without anyone being the wiser. They also do tasty churros and a selection of rolls as well as a mean hot chocolate for those cold harbourside walk days. And for those sunny dreamy days there are amazingly tasty ice creams including flavours like honeycomb, chocolate fudge, cointreau and mint choc chip. It's also open late so worth stopping by on the way home.

Oh, but serving a donut on a plate and coffee in a mug is more inconvenient for you because it means you have to wash dishes? Well that's too bad, we didn't really go on strike on Friday for the fun of it.
