We were quite impressed to find this wonderful venue tucked away in an area which looked to be mostly local businesses. The parking lot isn't very large, but enough to handle the number of patrons. From the inside, it would be similar to a college or high school theater maybe holding 250 people. The acoustics were excellent and for the play we attended, the music was live. Although I didn't partake, I believe they also had alcohol for sale at very reasonable prices. The theater is quite intimate and could be compared to your typical New York Off Broadway theaters. I'm not sure what other events or plays are held at this venue, but I'm glad it exists in our community.

Its museum-like setting offers visitors the chance to explore the rich history of the island while climbing the 114 steps of the iconic red-and-white-striped structure. The museum features a fascinating collection of memorabilia from the Heritage Classic, now known as the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, along with artifacts from the island's historic eras, including the Civil War. At the top of the lighthouse, you're rewarded with panoramic views of the Lowcountry and the island's most elevated shopping experience at the Top of the Lighthouse Shoppe. Honestly, the entry fee was only $7.50 -- a small price to pay for such a beautiful view. Even on a super windy day, the scenery was breathtaking and definitely worth the climb, a must-do activity! Great service!
