I did. He worked so diligently and he showed such professionalism. He was kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Besides our exterior walls, Bill and his team designed a half-wall with cedar board complimented with new Anderson windows. The new design allowed us to create a relaxing sunroom that overlooks our new landscaped garden. Oh, did I tell you that we were presented with a computer-generated design with the ability to edit? This made it very easy for me to understand and "see" the project. In addition to the Hardy board installation, Bill and his team created a new exterior entry to a breezeway reading room was stunning-----now with the new hardscape, it IS STUNNING and really shows how Bill understood the vision we had. After the dust settled, Bill maintained an open communication with us. And this has proven valuable. Anytime you have a large project like this, you will encounter punch-list items. So many people have had challenges after a project is done. Not with Hatch Homes. Bill informed me that his Project Manager Patrick O. would be in contact. My meeting with Patrick was truly a blessing. Not only did he agree with the issues that I needed some correction due to items shifting, he also eyed some minor finds that will be corrected. There was nothing that Hatch Homes did not take ownership----and their goal is quite simple: Keep the Wow Factor. Patrick really impressed me. He is licensed in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC trade and maintains certification in many other disciplines. When you invest in a vendor who will create the dream home renovation, you want to make sure your dollars are well-spent and the end-result is what you expected. We are proud to say that we continue to get more than expected. In my opinion, the Follow-Up/Punch-List phase really differentiates those who are dedicated to their craftsmanship and take care of their customers. I can understand why Hatch Homes calendar is busy for the next six-months. I am so happy they are busy. Lastly, do not let their Charlotte address deter you from reaching out. The Hatch Home team has a far reach and travel a great deal to create wonderful results.

Mark met with me within a couple of days to survey my property and gave me his expert opinions and recommendations. He offered so much more than I had envisioned and gave me several options to chose from. I chose the option to have my front and side yard fully covered with sod. I also had a driveway drainage issue when it rained, causing water to pool in my driveway up to several days. I was so impressed with Mark's patience in answering my questions and thoroughly explaining the steps on how the sod project would be completed, I had him include the estimate for a french drain to be installed as well. I accepted the offer and Mark provided timely communications and updates before the project began. On the day of the project, Mark and his crew were extremely organized and work very well together. The old grass was removed and the clay soil was prepped and leveled. The 100 ft french drain was installed during the yard preparation. The top soil was applied and leveled. The sod arrived on time and installation began on the morning of its arrival. Mark and his crew had all the sod laid quickly. The team was very friendly and respectful of my property. One of the crew members found an expensive drill and gave it to me so I could return it to the Spectrum technician who left it when he was moving the cable lines. I worked from home and I was not disturbed by the work going on outside from the crew. All the work was completed in two days. Now I have an HOA friendly yard! I am extremely satisfied with Prosper Landscaping Construction quality of work.

We originally hired Building Kingdom for our master bath remodel because their price was good but…read morenot the cheapest and he seemed to understand what we wanted and how we wanted it. Chris was agreeable, polite, and sincere which honestly was a change from some of the contractors we had bid this job. Once the project was started, we learned, all too late, that he and his team were in way over their heads. The following is a list of "issues" we had with the quality, professionalism, and craftsmanship of our master bathroom remodel by Building Kingdom. Asked multiple times to confirm a timeline for the project and was told 3 weeks. Project took 9 weeks to be "complete". 3 Weeks in, Demo still wasn't complete. They left demo garbage at the bottom of my driveway for so long we received letters from the HOA on 2 occasions. Asked multiple times in the beginning to confirm that we had enough floor tile and grout. We were 3 tiles short and he purchased another bag of grout that that did not come close to matching our color. Change order that consisted of a nailing 3 2x4s together and installing them with hurricane straps -$500 Cut a water line in the bathroom without turning off the water to the house, resulting in a water emergency. Shower drain was centered on the shower stall, not the shower floor. Plumbed hot and cold water reversed to the shower valve. Plumbed shower head and hand held reversed. Promised custom frosted glass. Received Manufactured glass with no frost. Cut too far around faucet outlet and installed it anyways. Uneven tiles in corners of shower Shower pan puddled so he had to come back and tear out tile, grout, and mortar. It still puddles. Shower pan grout cracked after 2 weeks of use Built "bump outs" to mount the glass to, but didn't account for the tile depth, so they had to cut a channel in the tile to mount the glass doors. Returned 3 times to properly mount shower door so that it would close properly. Still doesn't close properly. Bullnose border in the niche has 2 sides flush, 2 sides off set Used spacers on some of the floor tile and some not. Resulting in uneven grout lines. Wired the new closet switch incorrectly resulting in no power in the master bedroom for an evening. Crew regularly didn't show up or didn't work while he wasn't here to oversee them. Taped Access panel into drywall leaving no access without cutting or tearing drywall paper. Drywall corners are wavy, generally terrible drywall skills and results. Project included leaving the ceiling "paint ready". Drywall tape is coming off, popcorn left around edges of ceiling. Bench seat grout line cracked and resulted in leaking into our kitchen. Repaired by Chris, cracked and leaked again, and caused severe damages to the kitchen ceiling, wall, and cabinets. His insurance company required 2 written reports, at our expense, to prove that the shower was the cause of the damage. They have taken 54 days to make a reasonable offer to get the shower and kitchen damage repaired. Building Kingdom has been using images of our bathroom on his website to promote his skill when we designed the bathroom and purchased all the materials. A project started on August 17 probably wont be completed (repaired to a usable condition) until after February. This list is just a high level list, it doesnt mention his crew constantly asking for glassware or dishes for their lunch, them locking us out of our bedroom while they "worked", or constantly being told that our project sucked. When the Chris handed the project over to us, we suggested that he leave some of the final payment on the table in order to make up for the timeline being 3 times what he had promised and he did leave about 17% of his original quoted price out of the final payment. However, his insurance company didnt consider that 5+ months of having an unusable master bath shower or damaged kitchen walls was "loss of use" so we are only barely getting our house "back to zero". Every time I go into our bathroom I'm infuriated by the entire situation. Seven months without our shower, wasted time and money, poor quality work, and how much we paid to get into this position. Obviously, I cannot recommend Building Kingdom.
