Claimed they delivered road base. Road base was never delivered. Verified that it was never delivered by two people and one contractor. Still charged credit card over $1,000 for item that was never delivered. Filed a dispute with my credit card company. Still continues to claim delivery was made despite eye witnesses never taking delivery. Provided an unauthorized/ illegible/unrecognized signature on receipt to credit card company as "proof" to bolster its false claims after months. Terrible company. Avoid. We had multiple prior deliveries with full payment with no issues until this last one. Not sure what is up with them. read more

Things have changed here over the last 30 years or so. We rented a bobcat for 2 weeks for $2,100. Used it for 30 hrs only. On the 12th day, the very worn-looking track came off. Three days later they came out to fix it. The manager told me it was operator error, and charged me $625 to put it back on saying that the tread had $300 worth of damage (I took a picture of what he said I had caused and it looks pretty much like the rest of the worn-out track and will most likely be on the same one you might rent). He was totally inflexible, he said that the rental ended when the track came off yet he would not at least reimburse me the 2 lost days at $150 per day. So I was down $900 by now. I called the owner and after some time he returned my call and reluctantly gave me a $300 discount. So I ended up paying $2700.Ask them what you will have to pay for. I've never been charged for a call-out before. read more

Just bought 6 yards of gravel for some paths around my property. Product was delivered on time. There was quite a distance between the two areas where I needed the gravel, but the driver (sorry--didn't catch the name) was great about it. He dropped part of the load in one location and then actually dropped the remainder as he drove out--spreading the gravel along a path area and saving me several hours of moving it by wheel barrel later. Nice to be able to deal with a local vendor who provides excellent service to the community. read more

Very expensive. They said a one day rental on a concrete drill would be $ 65..... not cheap when I brought it back there was sales tax, natch, a 3.50 charge for using a credit card (new to me) and then a fee for "Oak Vies, CA" of almost $5. Total $ 79... for a rental for 20 hours on a hand held tool..... I also had the feeling at both pick up and delivery that I was in a club where I was not a member. Their property was a mess.... glad I had not washed my car. Never again. read more

I can't say enough good things about this rental yard. I've been renting from them for over a decade and have always been well taken care of. They always have the equipment I need for any job, whenever and wherever I need it. The owner, Greg, is a knowledgeable and friendly guy that is in the yard most days and always available by phone when I have problems or questions. There have been many times that he's actually the delivery driver as well! Just recently, while working in Hawaii, I needed a specialty tool to work on a priority project and after extensive calling learned that there wasn't one to be had in the whole state! I called Greg, and even though it had nothing to do with him or his yard he was able to locate the tool, pick it up and overnighted it to me in Hawaii! Talk about going the extra mile for a customer! This review is loooong overdue! I'm a landscaper, natural builder, and a property manager for a large estate. Over the years I've had many, many opportunities to work with Greg Rents. Renting tools, materials delivered, and buying equipment. With every project, Greg has gone out of his way to meet our needs. For example, this summer I was building something that required a very specific type of soil. I sampled soil from vendors all over the valley, including Greg's, and nobody had what I needed. I started calling companies from farther and farther away, with no luck. Finally, in last minute desperation, I called Greg at 4:30pm, told him exactly what I needed, and asked if he knew of any local construction happening that would result in fill dirt that he could deliver to me, by 8am the following morning!! Believe it or not, that man sourced it, and got it to me by 8am on the dot. Exactly what I needed, and at a great price. I'm continually impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond.
