We found Dr. Alejo to be soooo personable and always went out of his way to ensure we were informed and cared for. Because of this, we switched over to Dr. Alejo as the PCP and are so happy with the service he provides. OBGYN - Dr. Du and Verina (NP) were the two I most often saw during my pregnancy. Both extremely friendly, personable and will take the time to answers questions, otherwise, office visits are standard and quick. Great experiences overall with both! Office has gone through extensive renovations and is very modern, clean and spacious. There is even a little seating area for the kids with a tv to keep them occupied / entertained while waiting. Located in the same plaza as The Habit / Sprouts / Ross. Shared parking lot with ample amount of spaces, never an issue.

Desiree is the kind of healthcare professional who reminds you that compassion and the little extra touches really matter. She clearly has a gift for working with children and making families feel comfortable. What stood out most was the thoughtful personal touch she added to the visit. She used my daughter's name and wrote a welcoming message on the disposable paper covering the exam bed, then decorated it with colorful markers. It was such a simple gesture, but it showed that she took an extra moment to make my daughter feel special rather than simply going through the routine of a pediatric visit. Usually the pharmacy is so packed at Kaiser Baldwin park but not here. I needed to visit the lab and radiology departments that day. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. In fact they provide good services at any Kaiser locations in general. But I feel this one is warmer and more welcoming. Most likely I will make my half yearly checkup at this location in the future! Their phone is broken, just like their heart is broken. Probably, just come to their busy office, and see how "busy" they are blocking people's phones call to make a very QUIET room. Wow!! Let me go through each of the following: +Dr. Shah: Dr. Shah is really cool; he introduced himself to me as Dr. Jay, and we are from the same home town, age, and have a similar life background in terms of moving around from the Bay to LA! It was great having that rapport since it was my first time meeting him. But most of all, the best thing was that he ordered multiple tests to help me get to the bottom of my abdominal issues that I have been struggling with for more than half my life! After going to the ER a few times and finding nothing major in my CT scan, I was worried he would dismiss my stomach issues, BUT he did the opposite thing and helped me with diagnosing multiple potential problems. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief and finally get to the root cause of all my abdominal issues! This has not been the case with previous providers...(hence why I switched). THANKS, DR. SHAH! Oh also, Dr. Shah is funny; he made a funny joke on his business card lol. He also was able to take a look at my ankle as I know his expertise is also in sports medicine! He gave me detailed information on stretches to do for my ankle and also some resistance bands. WOW! I experienced no wait (I was even seen EARLY). WOW. Everything was prompt, efficient, and thoroughly explained! I also appreciated how I received discharge papers with such details documented and on my labwork, there were even specific instructions on what I should avoid taking before the bloodwork. I was also told in detail about fasting. My previous provider did not do that! Overall, it has been a wonderful experience so far with this provider and clinic! I am so happy because it is very close to where I live too. Feels like a dream come true to finally have a great doctor and experience with a physician's office! It's my first time here, I try to get to the location and due to some insurance mishaps my appt location and time had been changed a few times. I arrived to the Crossroads location and quickly found out I arrived to the wrong one. Rushed over and even CALLED the front desk to let them know I was arriving late as a courtesy. As I walk in the front girl screening the appt just started repeating over and over how I was late and the tone was just annoyed right off the bat. Even another lady trying to come in was given attitude so quick too, but watched her as she picked and chose who to be nice to when walking in and out. ON TOP OF HAVING A WHOLE CONVERSATION ON HER CELLPHONE IN THE LOBBY out loud in front of us. Luckily they took me. Accepted my insurance and payment, the girls behind the window were a little nicer at least. The back office staff , especially the girl that took me back was much more pleasant. The conversation was there and the overall vibe was better from her. Finally seen Dr Baez. Super pleasant. Still took me in for my rather short 5 min visit and I was very satisfied. Point being, you can tell when you enjoy your job and when you don't. People can too.

I have left two messages, and gotten no call back. I emailed on the app, No response so I booked an appointment on the app only for it to be canceled today without a reason why. This is the kind of medical…read morefacility that will tell you, you're having anxiety and its something serious and loved ones end up passing due to this type of dereliction. I'm a 36 yo adult. I am fully aware of anxiety/ panic attacks and this wasn't it. I had severe chest pains, high blood pressure, severe headache, sweating and started vomiting so finally decided it was time to go once I started vomiting. Mind you I was about 6-7 weeks post op a total hysterectomy. I went with no bra because the chest pain was so intense and my abdomen was still so sore from surgery. The man who did my ekg asked if I'm comfortable just walking around with no bra ... I was pretty shocked it being the ER but told him yes I can care less because my situation. I barley could walk due to the dizziness and vision problems I was having aside from everything else. But no biggie I brushed it off. Then the man who did my IV tells me, can you walk?! As I was in a wheelchair. I was like no dude I'm so dizzy and sore from my surgery. Made me feel like such an inconvenience and very embarrassed. Long story short they chummed it up to be chest pain and anxiety. I never even mentioned it had anxiety so that was weird. I expressed how bad my heart and chest was feeling and the ER doctor basically said I needed to follow up with an endocrinologist and there was nothing they could do aside from the meds they gave me. I was in complete disbelief. Went home feeling horrible but followed up with my primary and now I am seeing an endocrinologist who is sending me to Loma Linda hospital. You really have to advocate for yourself. It's so sad how they make you feel and brush off your symptoms. Especially when you're at your absolute worst. Even on my forms you can tell they tread lightly labeling it chest pain but still slightly mentioned my pheochromocytoma. Also, would have been nice for them to mention I had kidney stones but the emergency room doesn't feel that is a serious issue so I am aware they wont mention the findings, but its listed as some of the most painful heath issues. The wait was fine. Expected from an ER. If I end up here again I truly pray they do better and hope people get the care and compassion they need. I left two stars because my visit was in March. Today I visited the main hospital to retrieve my scans on a disk to give to the endocrinologist for the tumor and the gentleman who was volunteering in a wheelchair was amazing helping me navigate the hospital. The woman in medical records was also so very sweet and kind.

Anyway, my visit was quick and thorough. The doctor had the perfect balance between being professional and being personable. The nurse (nurse Wang) spent time building rapport and creating a comfortable environment for me as they drew blood. After all was said and done I was only charged $200 for the blood/urine tests they sent out to do. I know people on Yelp think they are getting "ripped off", but $200 is not a lot for blood work. My husband had his done at a different clinic and it ended up being $1100 for the same tests. I would recommend going here if you want to work with professional and precise individuals. I would also mention that both doctors are board certified so they know what they're doing.

my fiance had pretty horrible experience…read more he was "forced" my insurance company to go in for annual check-up he went in and saw the doctor on the 17th and they took multiple viles of blood and first time it went okay he got a call couple days later and was told he need to come back to check his potassium level again and it was high from last time he went back on the 24th of May and they took one more vile of blood and this is a result after his visit not to even mention.. i thought insurance covers once a year check up which includes blood work? he was charged for his initial visit with doctor along with blood work and second time visit fee along with second blood work after $210 spent to be told you are fine and left with punctured veins or possibly arteries? he couldn't move his arm for couple days and now theres pretty nasty looking bruise on his arm he said it was the same person who took his blood both times
