I was born with a mess for teeth, and always knew by the time I was 18 I would have to get an implant or something as I had a deciduous tooth right in the front of my face. I explored countless dentists, all suggesting a variety of methods or "ways of going about this". I have a very small face and features and very little room in my mouth so everyone kept reminding me of what a "challenge" this would be. When I met Dr. Carroll, he was maybe dentist number 13 or 14 I'd seen since I was 18 in trying to find someone who was A. honest, and B. not wanting to file down my good teeth with veneers. He was both and far more. He far exceeded my expectations, helped me avoided additional orthodontic work and gave me the smile of my dreams. With that in mind, here is my story. I signed up to one Medicare insurance in order to take advantage of the money allowance they give on their benefit card. I lost my doctors and had to get new doctors, including dentist. But I got a good amount for food and things like utilities, uber, etc... This dentist was on the list. I called and made an appt for my 6 month teeth cleaning. Got there and first thing they did was take x-rays. Second thing they did was doctor came in and gave me an exam. Now normally, the dentist comes in AFTER the cleaning and does the exam. This dentist did the exam before the cleaning. After her exam, she told me that my mouth was unhealthy and my gums were inflamed and bleeding... SOMETHING THAT I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE! I was SHOCKED!!. How on earth did my mouth go from healthy to unhealthy in 6 months????? She refused to let the hygienist clean my teeth and told me i needed a complete mouth/gum scaling.. The insurance i had would not cover it and my out of pocket was ENORMOUS! I went home and thought about it. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I have absolutely no gum problems or gum bleeding. I called around to other Medicare plans to see who had the best dental for me... I went back to my prior Medicare insurance, got my old dentist back and made an appt for a teeth cleaning and doctor consult. Today, I got my teeth cleaned, got x-rays and the dentist did an oral exam AFTER my teeth cleaning. I asked the dentist how my mouth was. How my gums were. Are my gums bleeding. She told me my mouth is healthy, my gums do not bleed and there is no inflammation. This was a bummer. This dentist chose the wrong person to try and take advantage of Medicare with. Don't lie to me. Don't tell me my mouth is unhealthy. It will come back and bite you in the derrière.

He was so extremely patient with me and talked me through the process. He said that if he couldn't get me prepared enough with other options that we would continue with the IV. We prepped with a pill an hour before my visit and when I arrived I was still pretty tense so he gave me some Nitrous (which honestly I had before and it didn't work)...with a little tweak of the nitrous I was ready to go! A miracle! lol dr Limosani performed the root canal and I couldn't be happier because I now know I don't need the IV sedation, and I feel so much more confident to face future dental appointments..... thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Limosani! I went to the dentist on 01/06/2026 only to have a small piece of resin that had fallen off glued back on. For that service alone, I was charged $52. Dentist Lea Chernoff said that gluing it back was not the best option and that it would be better to redo the entire tooth. I told her that before anything else, I wanted to know the price of doing the full tooth. She said "okay," but then picked up a tool and started removing the remaining resin from my tooth before telling me the price. I immediately stopped her and said again: before you remove anything, I want to know the cost, because if it was too expensive, I would choose to just glue the fallen piece back--even if it wasn't her recommended option. She then left the room. When she removed the resin, I clearly saw the piece fly off. Knowing it had fallen on the floor, I looked for it and found it. The receptionist then came back with the price: $1,500. I said that was extremely high and pointed out that now gluing the piece back would no longer be possible because the dentist had removed the remaining resin. They insisted she had not removed anything. I told them I saw it with my own eyes. I even opened a photo of my tooth from before on my phone and placed the piece I found on the floor over the photo--it fit perfectly. Only then did they say they would apply resin for free to the part she removed and glue back the piece I originally brought. As expected, because the piece was small, the result was terrible: the resin was thicker than the rest of the tooth and a completely different color. So much for a recommendation of a place that is "honest and doesn't try to take your money." When I confronted dentist Lea Chernoff, she simply said it was the best she could do and walked back to her office. She took no responsibility for the damage she caused. I do not recommend this dentist. Besides trying to deny that she removed part of my tooth (which she did), the quality of the work was poor and unprofessional.
