I have been going to the library for a while now since I'm between jobs and searching. It's a…read morerelatively new building and there are two levels for the library: main floor and a mezzanine. The mezzanine is pretty good because those younger than 18 are not supposed to be up there (unless accompanied by an adult), but kids go up there anyway. There seem to be plenty of computers available for people to use. You do need a library card and need to sign up to use a computer. Usage is limited to 1.5 hours per day. There are separate computers for catalog searching and they don't count in the 1.5 hours. The WiFi is usually good although I have experienced some glitches and slow-downs. They have Comcast service and I would guess they have a 20MBps connection. They have a decent selection of fiction and non-fiction books, not as great as bigger libraries. The magazine selection is poor. They have a few daily newspapers. There's a separate section for young children that I've only walked by. There's also a teen area. New books, music CD's, and DVD's are displayed at the front of the library where you enter. There are plenty of tables with power outlets nearby if you're bringing your own laptop. There are also plenty of comfortable seats on both levels; some are near power outlets. The library is clean and usually quiet. There are a few times that people have spoken loudly on cell phones, but that's a rare occurrence. People are usually nice enough to answer phones away from others, although there are signs that indicate cell phone use is only allowed in the lobby. As long as people are quiet and reasonably brief, I don't mind the use. The reference librarians seem nice and try to be helpful. There's a self-serve checkout up front, but only for books. CD's (music) and DVD's require the front desk staff to go in a back room to get the discs. Restrooms are outside the library proper, around the corner near what looks like a large multipurpose meeting room. The men's room is usually clean and everything in working order. Don't know about the woman's room since I've never gone in there. The building and library are very handicap accessible.

Came to the Rahway Public Library for one of their events hosted by @FriendsofRahwayPubliclibrary…read more It was such a nice and chill event. The event I attended was the March Mocktail Mixer which we created mocktails inspired by iconic books. The co host @sushalamour who was the mixologist during the event picked great mocktails to curate such as the mockingjay mule which was based on the Hunger Games. The event was put together well and it was a fun afternoon activity. I definitely recommend checking out their events if you are looking for something to do in the Rahway area. It looks like they have events monthly.

Visited for the first time for a friends birthday and I really enjoyed myself. I am not a beer…read moredrinker but I did enjoy a blood orange seltzer and the "crush the slush peach guava." I love that you can try 4oz, 10oz, 16oz, or purchase a 4 pack of cans. Service was quick as ordering is at the bar. Staff does come around to clear and garbage and/or empty glasses. Since my friend invited around 10 people, she got there early to grab tables in the back. Loved spending time here, would return to try other beers on tap!

Was in Rahway area and wanted to go to this brewery for a long time .. I have tried wet ticket IPAs…read morefrom shops .. trying their location for the first time .. parking is tough. We kept looking and then had to pay in the parking garage opposite .. was crowded that day . Service was average . Didn't know that this was a buy your own food ! Just had a snack that they sold . Wish there was food . Next time I know I have to get my own food ! Ambience was ok. They didn't have many options on draft . They ran out of almost all drafts . We had to buy a 4 pack tin and they popped one out to serve us . There wasn't any hazy beers on tap. Wish , being a brewery they had more options . The hazy beers from the Tin was super good too ! It was called fully juiced ! It was ok experience overall .. 3 stars ...
