I received a complimentary visit to attend a class when I purchased my new bmw. The complimentary…read morevisit was for me and one guest. The class I attended was the Performance Center Drive and David and Reid were the instructors for the class. The class consisted of a lecture style intro by the instructors, then we got to drive. There was an off road type of course where we drove x5 m60i's. It was fun to drive the x5 and the off road portion of the class was adrenaline inducing for me. I was lowkey afraid, but Reid was a great guide. After the off road course, we drove on the track with David where we got to drive the following vehicles around: z4, i4, m4, m2, and the x4m. My favorite vehicle to drive around the track was hands down the m4, it was a beast to drive. My second favorite was the z4. I would say the x4m was my least favorite surprisingly. My class was split in half, so half of us did the off road portion, half did the track, then we switched off and all met up for the last portion of the class, which was the hot lap. The instructors drove us around in a M4 for the hot lap. I will summarize my experience as pure adrenaline! My boyfriend had the time of his life, me, well I needed more prep for that lol, and the class was early in the morning. All in all, it was a phenomenal experience. I would love to return to try the other classes they offer. You can even take delivery of your new BMW at the performance center, how cool is that?!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING -- VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH BMW PERFORMANCE CENTER…read more My husband and I ordered a 2025 M2 and added the Performance M School experience to the vehicle purchase. Since he wanted me to join him, I called and added myself to attend the same class. Shortly before our scheduled date, we learned that a hurricane was expected to hit the area. We understood the policy stating that classes run "rain or shine." My husband, who is an experienced driver, still chose to attend despite the weather. However, as someone less experienced, I decided to cancel my participation for safety reasons. When we arrived that day, I spoke directly with the Operations Manager, Front Desk Attendant, and several instructors (names available if needed). Every person I spoke with assured me that I would receive a refund without issue, especially since I was present and prepared to drive if needed. Based on their word, I left my cancellation in place. Days later, after repeated follow-ups with the Coordinator, Front Desk, and Operations Manager, I was informed that I would not receive a refund due to their "14-day cancellation policy." This was shocking and extremely disappointing given that I was personally reassured by multiple staff members that I would be refunded. For a program that costs $2,000 for a single day, this experience has been unacceptable. I feel completely misled by the staff and the lack of accountability from the BMW Performance Center. BE WARNED: If you need to cancel for any reason, even with advance notice and direct assurances from staff, do not expect a refund. What should have been an exciting and premium experience turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal.

You cannot beat the Friday night dirt track racing at Carolina Speedway! My son and I have been…read morecoming to Carolina Speedway for the past few years and I'd highly recommend this track to any racing fan! This dirt track has similar racing to the dirt tracks you might have seen other areas of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. You will find this track very well managed and operated. Things that stand out for me include: - There is plenty of free parking and it's easy to get in and out. - Tickets are not that expensive (~$20) and kids 11 and under get in free! - There is plenty of seating and you are not tightly packed in. Bring your blanket, cooler, and spread out! - The Concession Stand and "Sugar Shack" both have great food at good prices. I've found the food at this track to be the best of many of the other tracks in the area! - The prayer and invocation at the start of the race is authentic and caring. - The announcing is on point, informative, and loud enough to hear. - You feel safe as there are many friendly fans. You also see friendly police officers stationed nearby in case there is ever an issue. Paramedics are also staffed to handle any issues on the track. - About an hour into racing they have an event called "Kids Meeting Time" where the kids in attendance are asked to gather near the concession stand. They then get free candy thrown out from the track mascots: Mudwagon the Dragon or Captain Carolina. My son loves this!!! - The track is well maintained, safe for drivers and fans, and seems great to race on. - And, most importantly, the racing is excellent, fast paced, and exciting! We enjoy all the divisions and there always seem to be a lot of cars in each division. I've referred to Carolina Speedway as a "gem" in Gaston County and every time I come out with my family we have a blast!!!

It's a lottery with if you'll get a fast or slow one . The batting cages are really sub par. You have to basically stand 5 feet in front of the plate to hit the ball, otherwise it'll bounce on the ground before you can even swing. The worst part is, not every thing is open after about 9pm. I've been here four times over the summer and have not seen any of the carnival style rides open, the drift carts open, or the go karts specifically for kids. After 9 pm everything was shut down except the batting cages and the arcade. Overall it ain't worth going to. Go to top golf or main even down the road. It way better and way more consistent.and honestly just about the same price. Frankie's gets a two star Ps. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Overall lazy and just did not want to be there, which I get, but your paid to be there. Do better
