We had a number of small inside and outside jobs that needed to be completed to upgrade/update our older home. While a few area contractors refused to work on our smaller projects, Greenworks Remodeling stepped right in and provided professional, quality craftsmanship from start to finish. We could not be happier with the upgrades and the service was phenomenal, not to mention quite reasonably priced. We were allowed to pick out our flooring, tile, shiplap and lighting fixtures. We simply provided the SKU# to Greenworks and they brought the products with them to the job site. The crew set-up, worked efficiently, and cleaned-up the work site each day. If my spouse had not been at home, I would not have even known general contractors had been on site except for the progress found on my return at the end of each day. Greenworks had been recommended to me from a co-worker and we are so glad we reached out to hire this company. They offered suggestions during the planning stages to ensure we were on the right path for a complete project. Greenworks was very eager to quote the bathroom remodel job and get a significant deposit (early March), but apparently the person they sent for the quote had no clue about anything regarding the project/company timeline. We were told it would be a two week project with a wait of 6-8 weeks to start -- we understand it takes awhile to get started, but after multiple calls back-and-forth, we finally got the project started 4 months later (mid-July)... and it took two full months to complete. The team that first started the demo was incredibly careless -- they damaged multiple hardwood floors, didn't cover over the air vents (meaning we now get to pay to have our ducts cleaned), and were completely unreliable. We thought it couldn't get any worse, but then they pulled the contractor and sent us a handy-man who had been doing this for only 3 years. His "team" was his son who had been working with him for less than a year and his son's friend who had just started a couple of months ago. They never showed up before noon, often were high (pungent smell of marijuana), and argued with us constantly that we were wrong when we showed them clear issues. Just one example - they tried to pass off two different off-white colored tiles for the shower as "close enough." The only good part of this project was that then they got pulled to another job and we got an AMAZING tile subcontractor (Danny - he is incredible). The project was finally finished this week (except that we still don't have a shower door and Greenworks has basically left it to us to figure that out on our own). Had a new window installed in 2019. Can't open without major struggle, nor can both sides be locked. Now, they won't even come look at it. My 77 year old mom obviously didn't check THIS businesses reviews. Nor will they honor any lifetime warranty (hand written on reciept) Bad business practices .... read more

Had our roof replaced, gutter guards installed, and new vinyl shutters installed around our windows. They came to our door and were soliciting in the area. I normally don't deal with door to door salesman, but since we were in the market for a new roof, we agreed to have them come back for an appointment to price a new roof for us. They showed up as scheduled, but started climbing up on our roof with a ladder before even letting us know they were at the house. We sat through the sales pitch (we had already sat through several others), and decided to let them do the work. We wanted to find out about new awnings, as our old ones were falling apart, but they only have fabric ones. Regardless, the salesman said he would get back to us with a price on them, but he never did. Work was started on time, but there were a couple of tense moment, when they decided to finish the roof without removing the old gutter guards, and when we questioned the wisdom of that, as the old gutter guards were nailed to the roof, and we were concerned that there might be leaking around the edge of the roof if they tried to come back the next day and remove and install the new guards on a completed roof. I ended up calling the manager, who took care of the issue, by stopping by the house himself, but my husband, who was home at the time wasn't able to get that far. It took my calling from work to fix the situation. The roof guys said the "gutter guards" weren't their department and they were just there to install the roof. The first winter, we had snow inside our garage and we are certain it came through the newly installed ventilation caps. We asked someone to come out and take a look at it, and they told us they would call us back. They never did. If we have a problem with our roof, I have no assurance that I will be able to get any satisfaction from them. Luckily, it is an Owens Corning roof, and I may go directly to them if I have any further concerns. Because we did financing through them, they charged the financing company for the work before I had actually approved it as being completed to my satisfaction, and it took multiple phone calls and a lot of waiting before I actually had a copy of my receipt, and a copy of the warranty, which came directly from Owens Corning. read more

I was totally dissatisfied with this company,we had our kitchen remodeled. From day one we had nothing but problems, extremely unorganized, the lack of communication between the workers is a joke. My cupboards came in chipped or broke, my backsplash had 18 cracked tiles, the grout work looked like a 2 year old did it. Workers never showed up on time, when they did get started the smoke breaks and running to the store took up most of their time. Countertop didn't fit, one worker constantly argued with us as to what kind of teim should be put in because of the incompetence of some of their workers. Still fighting them to get some more of their mistakes fixed. Would never reccomend!! read more

I had 7 windows put in my house spent $6,000.00. the windows were put in and I can not use my air conditioner in the bedroom because their windows came with a lip at the top and huge locks, so the bottom window will not go all the way up. Their brochure does not show this style of window, and I have never ever seen this kind of window. Called Greenworks and the lady was rude, they refused to help solve the problem. I took 2 days to put 7 windows in when it should of only took 1 day. They only sent 1 person out to do the windows then he said he couldn't do the bigger windows because he hurt his back and had to bring his father out to help finish the job. They are not really customer service oriented. Will never use this company again and they are to expensive to do any other work. read more

We have gone thr green works for all our windows and a new roof. They were professional, friendly and we were very happy with the work that was done. That was a few years ago now. We have had our bathroom remodeled previously.new vanity, new toilet, new tile on the floor, a fresh paint job and we had a fresh appearing bathroom with a 40 year old tub looking old and ugly. The pocket door installed was functional but cheap. Fast forward. 10yrs and enter Greenworks. Their salesman asked us what was wrong with our current bathroom. We tol him it was too small, the tub was settling into the crawlspace and as senior citizens my wife and I each had fallen while taking a shower in the tub. On paper, he redesigned the bathrooms that there was now room for a walker or wheelchair access. Replaced the tub with a 6' walk-in shower. He quoted a price for each item in the bath with an estimated price and said we would be selecting our own materials from any box store or retailer of our choice. He said if our selections exceeded the quotes it would add to our price, and likewise if we found sales that were under the quote our total price would be lowered. The base price quoted seemed lower than I expected. So we signed because we had a say in the design, the materials, the quality and the cost. We now have a showroom bathroom, with a barn door to bathroom glass sliding doors on rollers for our walk-in shower. Just lovely and more functional. read more

This is by far the worst company to ever get work done from. If I was able to give zero stars I would. My aunt had her kitchen back splash done and had nothing but problems with this company. They have very poor quality of work. Took forever to do the job their customer services never returns phone calls. When told about some of the cracked tiles they took forever to come fix it. This company has no business even doing remodel work. If you want the job done right I recommend Goodall home maintenance, remodel and repair. read more

I called these guys because of all the great reviews about them. I was extremely disappointed. When I called I had a leak that was my biggest priority. They said yes they could sure have someone out to look at that and while they were there they would even do an energy audit for me. I let them know I had just barely had an audit done and knew exactly what I needed and that though I was going to do new insulation that wouldn't be until after I stopped the leak on my house. They set the appointment then called to confirm the appointment but wanted to change it so my wife and I were home as part of the BBB practices. I took off work for the appointment and they didn't show. I called and they said that the appointment was scheduled for the day before when I had just set the appointment at close of business that day. They rescheduled and let me know that they would give me a big discount for rescheduling with them. The next appointment the sales man who knew nothing about remodeling was late and immediately started pushing a whole home insulation sale on me. After listening for a while I then said that is fine but the leak is my first project. He looked puzzled and stated that he wasn't told about a leak. I gave him the same problem and he took lots of pictures and said he would need to take it to the "experts" and get me a quote in 3 days. 4 days came and I called. They called me back and said that he would need to come back out and take some measurements and would like my wife and I to be home. I set a time and told him that my wife and I work opposite shifts and I would be there but not her. He agreed. That appointment time rolled around and at 55 minutes past time I called them again. I was transferred to one of the managers who informed me that he was told that I had not not set a solid appointment and he had sent the person to a different place. He asked me if I would reschedule and I told him that it had been a horrible experience already and I hadn't even received a quote yet. I told him that the gentleman was nice but came to sell me insulation when I had called them about a leak. The manager said well we probably wouldn't have touched the leak anyway. So I said well then I'm definitely calling someone else. In short I'm fairly certain the reviews were written by employees or someone close to them because unless you want insulation they aren't remodeling anything as near as I can tell.
