Before staff will even answer basic questions or assist with scheduling, callers are required to locate their insurance card and provide a verification reference number--every single time. This applies even if the patient has already been seen and the information is already on file. This policy creates an unnecessary barrier for patients and caregivers who are simply trying to coordinate medical care. Most healthcare offices maintain insurance information on file and update it when needed. Requiring patients to repeatedly produce the same details before even having a conversation is inefficient and not patient-centered. As someone coordinating care for a parent living with Parkinson's disease and significant mobility limitations, this process is especially problematic. When managing appointments for individuals with serious health conditions, the focus should be on facilitating care--not adding administrative obstacles just to speak with a staff member. With an aging population and increasing healthcare needs--particularly among baby boomers--systems like this will only create more frustration for patients and their families. I am incredibly dissatisfied with my recent experience at this facility. What should have been a…read moresimple, routine mammogram turned into a grueling two-and-a-half-hour ordeal. Not only was the wait time unacceptable, but I also had to have the procedure done twice during the same visit due to what appeared to be internal disorganization. To make matters worse, while waiting between procedures, I overheard a consultant openly telling someone that the center is actively double-booking appointments. It is completely disrespectful of patients' time to deliberately overbook a clinic, leading to massive delays and a stressful experience for diagnostic imaging that is already anxiety-inducing for many. I chose this center expecting professional care and efficiency, but instead experienced complete chaos. Management seriously needs to address their scheduling practices and operational flow. I will not be returning.

He explained everything from start to finish and even during the MRI talked to me to tell me timing of each session. Made sure I was comfortable. It was outside in a trailer I felt it was like a little adventure! It was actually more comfortable than any MRI I have had done before! I asked for the results and he assured me someone would call the same day in the afternoon. Sure enough by 1:00 I received the phone call with the results. I waited for about an hour to have my MRI done and when I went to the front desk I was told that they just received a message from the technician that the machine had overheated and it would take about an hour to cool down. Their machine is located on the parking lot of the location. I elected not to stay and was turned off by the entire experience. Some of the people I came in contact with seemed like they were unhappy working there and it reflected on how they treated the people who were waiting. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. It was not welcoming in any way and I question whether their safety standards are up to par. I recently went to their office in Danbury, Connecticut and it was night and day. It was extremely professional every step of the way. My advice... if you have to use Northeast go to their Danbury location... you will not be disappointed.

In addition to free weights and a host of cardio/treadmills, they also have a heated therapy pool, sauna & steam room, and a hot tub. The water in the large lap pool is a bit on the cooler side though. Staff are always friendly at check in. Some were OK, while others were awful! By far, having my mammogram performed by Norwalk Radiology Consultants was the BEST experience I ever received. To begin when I called to schedule my appointment, a PERSON [Melissa] answered the phone. I mentioned that I did not have a mammogram in over 10 years. We discussed my Medicare insurance. I was informed a mammogram screening would be covered but that an ultrasound, if I wanted one, involved a fee since Medicare no longer covered it as part of a routine screening. I opted for the mammogram screening without the ultrasound. NRC immediately sent a thank you email to me for booking my appointment with them. They provided me with an electronic medical record release form that I forwarded to my prior radiologist. When I arrived for my October appointment, Trea and Erica warmly greeted me. I simply handed my driver license and insurance cards and I was set! No reams of paper nor e-forms to fill out. Rather I was handed a beautiful pink insulated tote bag. How very nice indeed! After a very brief wait (I arrived early for my appointment), Liza walked me to my private dressing room and then I went for my mammogram. Although my appointment was on a Monday afternoon, NRC called my home the following day at 8:59AM with my results. Wow, what service! In addition, my results were sent to my PCP. Super !!! When I arrived home, I turned on my computer and was pleasantly surprised to receive another "thank you" email for my visit. Excellent experience at this MRI center with my early-morning appointment. First of all, its in a…read moremodern professional office building with a spacious parking lot. Free parking is a big plus in White Plains. The medical office is well-appointed and the receptionists/medical assistants were very friendly and helpful. Allow time for filling forms, and possibly changing into scrubs. This was my first time sitting upright in an open MRI. What a marvelous improvement from my previous MRI (in a different facility) laying on my back for a closed MRI. With earplugs the MRI noise was moderate and easy to bear. And, I was quite comfortable sitting through the 30 minute process watching a home improvement show on the wall-mounted HDTV. My actual score for this facility is 4.5 stars. I took off just a half star for the MRI tech who, although professional, efficient, and informative during the process, had a stern demeanor. I probably should cut him some slack. He might've been facing a brutal schedule that day.
