Their product may be good, but don't bother asking them about any details; like "what are you calling a cord?" ( some people will sell you less than a cord, which by the way, is 4' x 4' x 8') or " what species of wood will I be getting?" (some people will sell you inferior species.) I asked these two questions and the respondent (via text) imediately got miffed and acted like they were far too busy to deal with any one who would dare to ask. They immediately cut off my order because I had the audacity. As I said, they may have a good product (or not), but they sure weren't interested in confirming that by answering the two simple questions. The person I was texting with was rude and dismissive. He will consult with you about what kind of wood would be the most effective for your situation. For example, I have a one year-old wood-burning fireplace insert which can only take wood of certain lengths. Every time DAN delivers to me, he is cognizant of that. Due to her politeness, I decided to schedule an estimate with them instead. The appointment time came and gone without any calls. The following day I left a message. I got a call back the following day by the woman again, who apologized, and said that the area is covered by Arbor Tree services and didn't want to encroach on their areas. I told her that it would have been nice to get a call to explain this rather than a no call, no show. She apologized and we hung up. The woman called me back stating she spoke to the owner and told him that he needs to do right by me and provide me with an estimate. I rescheduled. This time Philip showed up. Mike was great to deal with and even did a great job in treating my neighbor (one of the trees overhangs her yard and they needed to put the chipper on her driveway) with respect and made sure they didn't damage her yard. They are proud of their work and it showed in how they handled themselves. Mike kept checking with me to make sure they were doing what I expected them to do. They even cut the tree to length for me so that I could use it for firewood (i did the splitting). I couldn't be more pleased with them and highly recommend them. I only wish more companies were this professional and took this much pride in their work.
