The crew was very professional, thorough, and completed the job on time and at a very competitive price. They started the job by decontaminating the basement to assure that any asbestos that had already broken off would be cleaned up. They then proceeded with the major abatement work. The job was done very thoroughly in one day and after the abatement, the pipes looked like new. J and J arranged for an air quality assessment as part of the process. There was no mold removal or treatment with an EPA-designated product before slapping a layer of sheet rock over the ceiling and wall that blocked the electrical outlet and light switch of my built-in medicine cabinet making them unusable. Furthermore, the sheet rock did not match up with the bull-nosed tile edge leaving a gap between where the wall tile ends and the plaster wall begins. An HPD inspector determined that the job was improperly done and ordered that it be redone. I would never allow this company to perform any work in my home.

CHIPS houses 9 young women who must be 21 years old and over and pregnant in their third trimester and allows them to have a place to stay for one year. They must go back to school and participate with in-house activities. CHIPS offers so much more programs as well. I spoke with Denise who is the executive director about the possibility of me coming back to volunteer with my church and she said that it was fine but I would have to participate in a training class which takes place the second Thursday of each month at 9 am and the last Thursday of the month at 6pm. I had a great time volunteering alongside my fellow Yelpers Peter D, William K, Aura B and Steven S. I'm looking forward to more opportunities like this in the future. This church is near and dear to my heart. I started going to forefront when I was 14, so it's been…read more11 years. I have met so many friends that have selflessly helped me through difficult times with prayer and actions. I occasionally sing during worship service with my mother who is very active in the church. I also volunteer at KidsStuff, caring for children of all ages making art, reading passages, and singing songs. This is an inclusive FOR ALL church and has many small groups where you can connect with the community outside of service (game nights, poetry readings, etc.). It is the first place I have felt completely welcome and accepted for who I am. You are never preached down to or judged. I have found friendships, work connections, and most importantly people who have become family.
