Wife: "Best nursery with their own botanical garden!"…read more We came here from King of Prussia Mall and that takes about 26 mins drive. After the mall, I wanted to bring my wife to someplace that she would really enjoy. She's an avid indoor plant collector and lover -preferably non toxic to cats. They do have a wide variety of plants and especially indoor plants. Pepperonias and the like. We didn't even explore the outside portion and it took her about an hour to explore the place thoroughly. At one point, we did get a bit lost. Also, at one point I saw a wandering cat somewhere. Looked cute and pudgy. The plants here are well maintained and managed. My wife even commented on how well they grow and she didn't even know some plants grew to those sizes. My wife is very particular with which plants go into her collection and does cost benefit analysis. The fact that she ended up buying two plants here is a good sign that the value is here. For me, I was just happy that she's happy. I'm sure if we're in the area again, we would be back again.

It makes me want to buy a house with a yard and go full out with starting a garden They have numerous trees, flowers, succulents and plants that I have no idea what category they fall in. There's also cats who live there!

I've spent hundreds of dollars at this garden center over the past 20 years. I've never complained…read moreof a perennial or shrub did not do well/survive. I came here today to request a replacement for a guaranteed shrub. It was my understanding that a replacement or refund would be given in this circumstance. But no. I was told the problem iis a result of all the rain. I was given Neem oil and told to treat it. The shrub is supposedly guaranteed for a year, so if it doesn't come back to life before one year, too bad for me. I have lots of reward bucks that I had planned to use today to purchase perennials and annuals, but after this experience I won't be buying anything more at Colonial. Ever. While I appreciate the response from Casey, as I've thought more about this, the main thing that disturbs me is that Eric could have done the appropriate,, pro-customer service response to a 20-year-long customer, he chose to dismiss my concern and argue his point that it was just a treatable disease, while I was very expressing distress having a failing shrub in my otherwise well-tended garden. It would have cost him nearly nothing to make me happy, and generously offer to replace the $60 (!) shrub, instead he opted to be obstinate and provide me with a bunch of worthless platitudes about the analogy between teenagers and plants. So, now, instead of spending my $700 yearly garden budget at Colonial, I'll spend it at another garden center. (And, if today's interaction was any indication, Eric will probably say "good riddance.")
