I have never seen such high prices for service. If the AC broke, which was often in MS heat, the utilities would skyrocket even more. Expect to add close to $200 a month to your rent for utilities. Absolutely ridiculous, and customer service never had a valid answer for why this was the case.

Omg when I got to my house a few days later, the gas meter, that is supposed to be close to parallel to the house. Mine is bad. It's on bad angle. It is awful. I called the lady back at the utility district and told her how the meter was put in and could they please send the workman back out to fix it where it's straight. She informed me that she would and that he would talk to the contractor about it? Why? It's not his house where the gas meter placement looks like ___. Besides not just anyone can work with the gas meters. So talking to the contractor is of no value. Well 3 weeks have passed and they still haven't done anything. I'll be getting back on this next week. Look how far it is off the house! Isn't there a placement spec for gas meters? Something just doesn't look right to me!
