We met with four different companies and received quotes from each, but we either weren't confident in their work or just didn't feel they were the right fit until we met with JG Lawns. Craig came out to provide a free estimate and was brutally honest LOL. He never tried to oversell us or promise things that weren't realistic.  His personality and knowledge earned our trust, and combined with fair pricing, made our final decision to move forward with this company. Our project was originally expected to take about a week, but due to issues with choosing pavements and the paving company shipping the wrong materials, it ended up taking about a month. Even with the unexpected delay, Eric and Jesus (his dad) were fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us updated every step of the way, explained any changes, and always made sure we were comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Their crew worked incredibly hard every single day. They treated our home with respect, paid attention to every detail, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. Their pride in their work definitely shows in the finished product. We couldn't be happier with how our backyard turned out. It exceeded our expectations and has completely transformed our outdoor space. We would definitely recommend this company to anybody seeking turf and redo their yard. We are so glad we chose them.

We interviewed three companies and ultimately chose Villanuevas Landscape for two main reasons. First, the owner, Andres, personally came to our home to assess the scope of the project and address our questions about adding gopher wire under the sod to mitigate the gopher issue. Second, his pricing was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. The entire project was completed in just two days. Andres actively managed the project from start to finish, and his crew worked efficiently while paying close attention to detail. They were respectful of our property throughout the process and made sure the work area was clean at the end of each day. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Villanuevas Landscape to anyone looking for quality landscaping work. We'll definitely be using them again for future projects!

CAPTAIN 619 & THE GENERAL "THIS ARTIFICIAL GRASS?…read moreFUGGEDABOUTIT - THEY RUN THE TURF GAME." Me and The General paid a little visit to SD Turf Center this week, and let's just say... if artificial grass was a racket, these folks would be the Godfathers. Family-run? You bet. The young lady at the front office? Sharp as a switchblade. She walked us through every blade, every texture, like she was teaching a masterclass in "How to Make Your Yard Look Like a Million Bucks Without the Drama." The Breakdown: - Samples for Days: They sent us home with a box of turf swatches - real grass who? The General's already planning a backyard that'll make the neighbors' lawns look like last week's garbage. - No Nonsense, All Love: You can smell the family pride in the air. The pops was out back trimming samples himself - that's loyalty. - Turf 101: They schooled us on drainage, UV resistance, and pile height like they were reciting the family creed. The General muttered, "These folks know turf like I know revenge," and she ain't wrong. Why They're Top Dogs: - Customer Service Smooth as Silk: No pressure, just respect. They treated us like famiglia, not marks. - Labor of Love: You don't fake this kinda passion. They're not selling grass - they're selling a legacy. Final Word: If you want a yard that'll make Tony Soprano tip his hat, SD Turf Center's your final stop. The General's already earmarked their "Plush Premium" turf for our bocce court. Me? I'm just here to say: this family's got the turf game on lock. - Captain 619 (& The General, who's now taking "lawn enforcement" VERY literally). P.S. Tell 'em we sent you. They'll treat you like blood.
