When I first became his patient I was dealing with 45 years of leg and hip pain plus the huge job of caring for my mother with dementia. I had suffered from bad insomnia for more than 24 months! But I was determined not to overmedicate, as I spent ten years on heavy pain killers as a young woman, the last two years slowly building down the meds until I could go cold turkey. I have taken the same dose of medical marijuana every evening since I first saw Dr. Davis: no increases in dosage, and I sleep for a minimum of seven hours a night. An inservice on 'Good patient service' or don't work with people face to face. We left or were really thrown out because we talked to each other.
