Old fashioned pet store…read more It's old fashioned in as much as its laid out in a fashion more akin to a store in an Istanbul souk rather than the modern minimalist clean cut ways of the west. Stacked to the rafters with pet parafenalia it's the place to get all your pet needs met. For fellow cat owners they sell catnip mice that cause our cat to go a little mental and within a couple of days disembowel the cheap little toy. She loves 'em and it's a pleasure to watch her go mental.

All those excessive pets accessories you see on Friends or other things like that? You'll find them here. Just another of the places that makes me proud to be a Londoner. Just. ;-)

Lydia attends with one of her own dogs who sort of shows you how it's done and there were 5 other people with their dogs. One of the reasons I chose Dogsandstuff was because almost all the other puppy classes out there have between 15 and 20 dogs and it all gets a bit out of control (I attended one in Enfield before this one, but didn't bother going back). Being one of only 6, you get plenty of one to one attention at this one. I couldn't say that she was now fully trained, but she's well on the way.
We highly recommend Feline Happy as the best petsitting service in North London. As a childless…read morecouple, our cats are our family, our children, so one of our biggest concerns when we move is finding a good petsitter in our new neighborhood. Debs at Feline Happy was our petsitter for our five kitties during the entire time we lived in Finchley, and she did a great job. Our kitties love her and though we travel frequently, we always come home to happy, well-fed cats and clean litter boxes. When we first contacted Debs, she was available to come meet the kitties and start petsitting on short notice. We had an initial meeting, and even our shy kitty Oliver went right up to her to be petted, which amazed me. (Usually he hides if strangers are around) I think the cats sensed that she was a pet person, and she was very good with gaining their trust. Over time, we've found that Debs was always available through Christmas and other holidays, so we didn't have to worry about having multiple petsitters. She's fully insured, as is her husband, so even in the event of an emergency, you can be confident that your kitties are in safe hands. We've never had any kind of issues with the kitties getting sick while we were away, but I know I could trust Debs to take great care of them and to make sure they receive any medical care they might need. We give Debs our highest recommendation, and we're confident you'll be happy with her services!
