I tried to buy a cats flea comb. They are kept behind the counter for some reason, every other…read morenon essential item you can pick up from the shelves. I managed to ask a passing member of staff who pulled one from behind the counter and unceremoniously put it in my hand and quickly walked off. The comb isn't what I needed I wanted one with a handle so you can dunk in water and drown the fleas. There were no worming tablets on display either. The queue at the same counter was not moving. I was in a hurry so I walked out. what is the point of keeping these things behind the counter. I will go to Amazon for pet supplies. I'm disappointed with this shop.

It appears you are unable to buy fish if Pets at Home's equipment is faulty! Ridiculous! The man at the till however,was great!!

She couldn't have been in better hands than with Rodney Zasman who did an amazing job. He kept in touch with all her medical updates and was very thorough. A big thank you also to vet Nina Jacobs for her kind and gentle after care. There can't be many dogs who bound into the vets where they had an op with such exuberance. I can't recommend Zasman's more highly. Dotty has now fully recovered and is enjoying her new lease of life in the spring sunshine.

The vets and the receptionists are all loving and caring. Products for sale -- though limited in…read moreselection -- are reasonably priced. Minuses: sometimes unintelligible answering service for out-of-hours. Fill-in vets can provide less "full service" visits than the regular vets, who are GREAT. Pluses: There are many. The reasonable prices of visits and medication. The helpful opening hours. The positive staff attitude. The abundant treats available for the "patients". The great care. And the fact that they offer an out-of-hours answering service. Rodney, the owner, is a dog lover and active in charitable events and in the community around Hampstead Heath generally. This is also a big positive in my book.

Even an anti-depressant drops. Ricky won't leave her cage even with the door open. The bird was abused before she came to Hornsey. I wish I could help Ricky. In terms of the store, they sell all types of animal food including bird feed (which is what My Boots is interested in and therefore what I am interested in). The bird food was really cheap (1.25 per bag) and even less for the crap sunflower seed ones. Boots needs his food fruity. He's a premium mix little Grey man. I don't really get the Garden Shop part of the name. I believe I saw some flowers out front but nothing else really. This is pet food store. No Bird toys but some cat and dog accessories. I wish I could try to get Ricky out of her cage. I think she liked me. The staff has tried, maybe Ricky will come around.

That being said, it's not a store for Yuppies, where you can buy fancy-shmancy (useless) stuff...it's the real deal. However, I do very much dislike the fact that they stopped delivering the food; that was a nice service, but since it wasn't really cost-effective for them, they stopped doing that...and so now you can see me schlepping a big bag of dog food every couple months up Highgate Hill. Pets Corner is a small unassuming pet store on the corner of Queens Crescent and Malden Road in Kentish Town. The collection of animals revolves around fish, budgies, very funky looking horned lizards, kittens and other little furry animals. It has all the usual bits and pieces you need to care for your pet, and the family run feel makes it a comfortable, helpful environment. The kittens are the biggest draw in this store. Even as dog lover I must confess they are really cute. It is £90 for a black and white and £150 for a ginger kitten. My girlfriend has been bugging me for a kitten ever since I took her here. You've been warned!

So much for lovely pets on display. When the owners left the premises they left the animals caged in the basement and they were found most dead, some dying by the people who entered next. Their service was abysmal and their manners just very bad, as it can be expected by animal abusers and profiteers.
