I had a newly realized carpenter ant issue and called Greenx. Their customer service was attentive, and a technician came out the next day. I was told by the technician that he or another technician would be out again in a month to make sure the carpenter ant issue was addressed, but no one came. I called to ask and soon after another technician came out to treat the outside of my home. I was not sure if spraying was necessary inside the home, but was working and not able to talk to the technician when he was here. I recently received a text letting me know they didn't receive a payment, so being suspicious of the text (scam) I called the office directly. The first customer service rep was ok, not the really warm and comforting, but the account manager Marcus, who I was transferred to was great. He was nice, manners on point, and communicated what he was able to do for me. I was worried, since I paid in full, they were going to try to get more out of me... but he didnt. My situation was definitely resolved for now, but I worry I am going to have issues if I cancel like other reviews I read. So for now, no issues with ants, they are not asking for payment again, and Marcus was great with getting that all done. I hope it stays this way and not have any issues moving forward! read more

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Greenix so others can make an informed decision. For over a year, I have been trying to cancel my account due to an ongoing billing issue. Each time I contact customer service to cancel, I am told that since I have already paid so much, they would prefer to send a technician out instead. I clearly state that I do not want service, yet they offer a temporary discount and then still schedule a visit. This cycle has repeated multiple times. At one point, I felt I had to go as far as saying I would not allow the technician onto my property just to make it clear that I did not want their service. Despite continuing to be billed, I have only received one actual service in the past year. This experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. I would strongly encourage potential customers to carefully review contract terms, billing policies, and cancellation procedures before signing up. Minneapolis. Called to cancel contract 15 hours after the salesman Cooper C left my house. This is well within 3 days cancellation window. Had to call multiple times with wasted time jump through hoops with 3 different people technique to confirm cancellation with a CS manager. 20 days later a Greenix truck trespassed at my house without permission. When I called to tell them to leave immediately, Greenix told me the salesman fraudulently reactivated my account without my knowledge. And someone conveniently altered my email address (originally email address was correct) so I would not be notified of the reactivation. This company charges a $400 cancellation fee so this action tried to steal $400 from me. I filed a police report and notified BBB of this company's fraudulent practices. I will NEVER speak to a door to door salesman again. read more

Signed up for pest and insect control. John came and did first treatment and set up bait outside the house in their special boxes. It was very cold but he still did the inspection and treatment. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. Price seems reasonable. read more

The technician who came out to my house, Frank Slover, was amazing! I would highly recommend him! Unfortunately the sale rep completely lied to me. I wish I had gotten his name. He told me that the service I was purchasing included the repair of up to 3 holes where mice were likely entering the house. When Frank showed up he clarified that was a completely different package and the one I purchased did not include any hole repairs. So, the rep completely lied to me. Be sure to ask multiple questions and don't trust what the rep is telling you to close the deal. Again, Frank Slover was wonderful! I would give Frank a 5 star review, but due to the dishonesty on the part of the sales rep I will have to give a 1 star review. read more

Greenix bought the highly rated Rove Pest Control, with whom we had had a contract for years. We were told that our services would remain the same, so we paid them for the next quarter. Dealing with Greenix has been a pain. Their policies are not the same as Rove and their appointment windows are 10 hours long. After unsuccessfully treating our home for yellow jackets, they refuse to return for 2 more weeks! There are hundreds! We will be looking for another company which will hopefully be more responsive and reliable. read more

They not only violated the no solicitation list of my community which is in violation of our village code but then had the great idea to lie to me saying they serviced our home in the past. Apparently they use the same lie to everyone in the neighborhood that they visited and thought it would be good to solicit up to 8:45PM. If they had woken up my kids I would have been very pissed. They trick you into a contract. I wasn't told that I had a two year contract that if I cancel I will have a penalty. I was on the 39.99 a month plan and the college kid they had selling these deals said I could cancel anytime without penalty. Of course to keep you they offered to drop to $29.99. They send you through 3 layers of management to get to the account manager that takes a while. Then they want to have a conversation about your experience. I ended up paying $120 for the cancelation. I hired them to provide what I thought was a monthly service for bugs. They showed up when I wasn't home even though I told them I would not be available until Thursday or Friday. So she rescheduled for Thursday with no set time. She showed up when my ducts were getting cleaned so she couldn't do anything and said she'd come today but needed to say she did the work on that Thursday. She came on Friday did the inside and one outside window but then said she couldn't treat the yard because of the dandelions and she would come back the next week. That was on May 16th, I'm still waiting for her to come back. I called in June talked with some guy he was going to email me a new contract and restart my right to cancel. He never sent it to me and has never called me back. I do not recommend them. read more

First, they are selling door to door which I have learned is illegal in Indianapolis city limits. They are strong arm artists, but I am responsible for the contract engagement. I committed to one year, they did show up as stated, however, sometimes the tech literally did not even get out of the vehicle... I have completed my contract and they refuse to stop harassing me for ongoing payments. I have filed with the BBB and I contacted them repeatedly. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE. I am not a customer, but a supposed "sale rep" was in our area over the weekend, riding a Segway scooter after leaving his car with Florida license plates on the road. He had a green shirt but no other identification and when asked for an ID, he said he forgot it. He was looking in windows (as a ring camera recorded) and he was extremely pushy, bad mouthing other pest control companies, and insisting "all my neighbors" had his company. I kept telling him no and he finally left. I have talked to about 15 of my neighbors and he had this same attitude with all of them. He was even out at 9:15 at night. I called Green to ask if he was even legit, but didn't get a good response. I would NEVER sign up for service because of this. read more

I was lied to about what I needed to do to control box elder bugs. I'm stuck in a year-long contract with them that I don't need. I blame myself for not doing my homework before I signed a contract. I signed a contract with Greenix to get rid of lantern bugs. Later learned that they can't even be treated. Was stuck in a $50 a month contract I couldn't get out of. When I moved I had to prove residence and basically give over my first born child for them to let me out. Would not recommend. read more

Caution: We hired this company for flea and tick control, initially costing $200. However, they require you to enroll in a monthly subscription plan. Despite this, they only provide service every so many not monthly as expected. The initial treatment was ineffective, so we treated our home and pets ourselves, concluding that the issue was still originating from our lawn. When we contacted the company again, they informed us that the first treatment often doesn't work. We requested a follow-up visit, only to be told that no one was available and that it would take about three weeks. Needing immediate service, we decided we wanted to cancel and switch to a different provider. Canceling cost an additional $299. That brings our total thus far to $733- none of which has resulted in a reduction in bugs. Our lawn is well-maintained and open, so this should have been a straightforward service. We were extremely disappointed with their customer service, as attempts to resolve the issue were met with indifference. When trying to cancel, we were routed to an agent who seemed more focused on retaining our business than addressing our concerns. Overall, the experience felt like a scam, and we will never use this company again. read more

Beware of this company!! I was moving out of my rental property and only needed treated 1-2 times for ants that I had started to notice. They came out & did the initial treatment, I signed for them to take $199 off of my debit card with an initial follow up in 1 month. They never came back. Called customer service several times with my complaints & they said I signed a 1 year contract (after I'd just purchased my home) I asked for an email with a copy of my signature & never received it. At this point I'm down $600 with them saying I'll be billed the next 3 months. This company is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. He wanted her to make sure she'd gotten the estimate and then refused to listen when she said more than once she'd get back to him. I would not recommend this company at all. From the beginning the customer service was crap and everyone you talk to is foreign. We moved into a house that needed pest service bad since the previous owner did not use anything. Greenix was unfortunately the only company that would come to our house since we live kinda far out. We pay monthly instead of just when they come out like we have with previous company's. They're products were not working after months so I called and was told to cancel i would have pay $250. The last service we received, the technician put down snake away around my house without asking. Then came to talk to me about the 3 dozen "snake" holes we have. We have crawfish not snakes. They need to teach their employees the difference and not to put down products without asking first. I have chickens that free range and now I need to keep them put up because the tech told me it could kill them. Then I called the customer service to ask about the product used and complain and they did not care in the least bit. He said "no. Do you need anything else?". I had to call twice because the first person hung up on me. Terrible company. Stay away. read more
