She knows if she has a problem or even just a concern there are people there to help. There are a few CNA's that mom and I both love and two more that I cant remember their names. :) Also the receptionist, Jan, helps me with concerns about mom and when I call she is always so helpful. I live over 4 hours away but I get back every month so I know mom is well taken care of and so comfortable. I have had several meals there with mom and think maybe the food could be tweaked a bit. :) Mom always love it though! :) Thanks You Evergreen Senior Living for giving my family peace of mind.

It's not perfect like my main complaint was the food it wasn't awful but it's fine it's just temporary, it's not a 5 star hotel, but there are some really good people there. They helped me get through a court case.... I could have gone to prison..... I recommend coming here if you want help. There is always something to complain about, everywhere. I couldn't get food due to BHTs refusing to bring stuff up for me because "I was overreacting" but admittedly was brought stuff eventually after as stated earlier didn't eat for a full day, and also not getting meds until I was able to get up. I guess I'll also say the groups were very basic, but I've been to so many places so I've heard it all before. a lot of it stems from the client to staff ratio which based on the location i understand completely, I do feel like more could be done with the available staff but that's just an opinion. once again, this place is really great for the most part and if needed I would come here again. thank you guys for everything! I would absolutely recommend this place. excellent care after detox

This urgent care is woefully understaffed. There was only one person working the entire time I was…read morethere. She tried mightily to handle customer service, testing, sanitation, coordination with off-site staff, and more--and I do commend her for her efforts. But this is no way to run a health clinic. I was really taken aback by the fact that, once I accepted a telehealth appointment with a nurse practitioner, I was expected to discuss all of my symptoms and treatment options using the receptionist's phone--in full earshot of everyone in the waiting room (though there were only a couple people; one was a minor). I question the legality of practicing medicine in this manner, ie, who is supervising the clinic if no doctors are on site? Are nurse practitioners in Illinois licensed to provide care and prescribe without direct supervision? Furthermore, while the nurse practitioner I spoke with was as kind as can be, their medical advice wasn't helpful. For an unknown respiratory issue I described, they prescribed over-the-counter meds including a sleep aid (although they knew I already had an Rx sleep aid from my own doctor), and a common motion sickness remedy (although they knew I already had an Rx anti-nausea med from my own doctor). They also prescribed a cough suppressant that was just plain ineffective. I don't doubt their intentions, but when I was able to see my own doctor days later, he was frustrated that they didn't prescribe any antibiotics (not knowing whether my infection was viral or bacterial), and at the OTC choices I was given. Moreover, he immediately ordered a chest x-ray, which found that I had already progressed to acute pneumonia. I would return to this urgent care only if--like the day I went there--I had no other choice. And that would be silly, considering there's a reputable hospital right across the street.

My mother went to him with a pain in her head, he sent her home, where my father discovered a thorn lodged in her head. He exclaimed, "OHH, you DID get hit in the head". Many people I've spoken to have horror stories of botched surgeries.
