What an amazing experience we've had visiting the distillery!!! One of the brother-owner of the place took us on a gin tour and we've learned SO MUCH!! First of all, you can order a gin cocktail featuring their delicious products and oh boy, were those good. We've had 2 out of the 3. One was made with the beach plum gin, and one was made out of the clear gin. Both were amazing. There is nothing better than listening to a gin lecture being a little tipsy. I won't share everything that I have learned, but you get a whole new appreciation for gin, especially small batch made like the ones made here. I don't think I have any interest in drinking vodka anymore. Gin is my new favorite adult beverage. With or without chaser. Haha. You get to try a juniper berry and it's like eating gin. Very cool. You see the barrels, you learn everything about the history, you sample the 3 fabulous products they make at the distillery and you get to purchase your faves!!! I loved the beach plum one (the pink one). One of them is clear and classically tasty. The last one is more like a bourbon. Frankly, great experience. Learned a lot, drunk a bit and had a fun afternoon. Highly recommend to go with friends. And heads up, the location is a little shady, but once you enter the front door, it's all good! Haha. Uber it.

After the tour of his place and the equipment, we sampled their three gins: the traditional dry, the old tom, and a unique beach plum variety.

Overall rating: 4.8…read more Full warning: this is a history tour of deaths more than ghosts. It's a great tour but I think if they revised the name to "haunted" or "spooky", it would be closer to the actual tour. Which is a history of massive deaths in the Brooklyn area. The tour goes from Williamsburg, to the Navy Yard to back up. You actually learn a lot about the Cobble Hill area. Tyler and Danny were great and so knowledgeable!! Not sure if this is a repeatable tour, but it definitely is worth it! Also come on the earlier side bc seats fill up quickly! I think I was only 1 of 3 locals. Everyone else were tourists. But they were nice. Highly recommend!

The guide actually allowed two people to join…read morewho had not paid or shown tickets, which meant several of us had to sit three to a row on a trolley that was already crowded. It was uncomfortable and poorly managed. The guide herself (Gaya) seemed nervous and not very comfortable with public speaking. Her energy was low and it made the tour feel flat. The whole thing really needed more confidence and enthusiasm to make the stories come alive. As for the tour content, it was extremely underwhelming. We did not go to any real haunted sites or cemeteries. At one point the driver simply pulled over on the side of the highway and pointed out a cemetery in the distance. I could not believe that counted as part of the experience. Overall this felt like a waste of money and time. It was crowded, disorganized, and the storytelling lacked excitement. I would not recommend this tour to anyone expecting an engaging or authentic haunted experience.

They sent over their beautiful tour presentation, and it felt like a no brainer, the food tours looked amazing and in various neighborhoods throughout NYC. We picked the Immigrant Tour - Chinatown, Little Italy, and LES. The booking process, communication and attentiveness of the team was top tier. They were super helpful with all our needs, availability, location logistics for a diverse team and diet restrictions. Finally, the day of the tour came, and we were greeted by Seth and Jocelyn, FANTASTIC HOSTS let me tell you! They met us with enthusiasm and excitement for the tour. Seth provided a plethora of great historical information about each neighborhood and location. Jocelyn ensured every stop was ready for us and the tasting went off without a hitch. We learned so much about the city that many of us have been born and raised in. It was cool. We took group photos along the way at various picture friendly places, like freeman's alley, in front of the dim sum restaurant and at Essex Market. One thing you may be wondering, is it enough food? I can assure you it'll be plenty. 1/2 way through the tour we were already getting a bit full and still had 3 more stops to go. We will be coming back to enjoy another event in the future. They have more team building experiences as well, so be sure to check them out. P.S. Our experience allowed for LAL to make a donation to the Essex Market Community Fridge.

There seemed to be less structure and there aren't always places to sit down. There was some free time in Chelsea Market, which is fine if it fits the schedule, but our tour did run over quite a bit and I had to be at work later that day. I did love learning the history of the Nabisco building and a little bit more than I knew before about Google. The high line is just a beautiful walk, if not a bit crowded mid-day. I had to tip my guide, and quickly duck out before the tour was over, since we were already coming up on three and a half hours and we hadn't even made it to 23rd street yet. I would have loved to have ended at Hudson Yards, but I just couldn't keep pressing it with the timing. The High Line had JUST opened its first phase when I moved away from NYC, so it was fun to see how it has developed. The food itself was so filling. We had everything from tacos (I tried the spicy tuna); a dumping (I chose pork); to super fresh melt-in-your-mouth donuts (we got two!); to pizza (kinda average plain cheese slice); to an iced tea (refreshing!); to tahini ice cream (my favorite thing on the tour!) The portions were generous and I really enjoyed learning about each business. Chris is very knowledgeable. Being a tour guide myself, the crowds would be a bit daunting to me midday at Chelsea Market, but Chris was very proficient in leading us through. Cool little business and I would be inclined to try one of their more traditional tours, although maybe all of them are similar to this! Great way to spend an afternoon, either way.
