Absolutely enjoyed the tour! Our tour guide was Tyler the Terrible and he was fabulous. He was so informative and fun. My only issues was that we were not able to stop to take pictures at the sites.

We had a great time! They had technical difficulties with the music and it didn't even matter! I've lived in Brooklyn for over 20 years and I still learned so much! Shout out to Zelda and Dracula for a great time!

Madame Morbid's Trolley Tours has been on my radar for a very long time. Everytime i travel to a city one of my favorite things to do is take a haunted tour, but i have never done one in NYC...which is basically my back yard. Madame Morbid's tours are equal parts education, gore, and entertainment. From the moment the trolley pulled up to pick us up, it was show time and we were instantly transformed back into the victorian gothic era. Gory Rori, our tour guide, stumbled off the trolley in true victorian goth form, dressed from head to toe, she fit the scene of the tour. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone and everyone, and will be back next season. A few highlights: 1. Tour is almost 2 hours long (i came on a sunday at 4 PM in October) 2. There are coupon codes online which offer 15% and 20% off, although the ticket is steep, it is worth it,. 3. You will drive through about 5 Brooklyn neighborhoods 4. You will learn about 8 stories, but also be taught other facts about death, the funeral industry and NYC in general 5. There will be traffic, but our tour guide entertained us with games and prizes. Theres also music on the tour and some smoke. 6. You get picked up and dropped off in the same spot. I hope next season there are more tours offered, because i think the traffic effects it. taking it in the evening was great but at times it did move slow.

ZELDA AND DRACULA WERE AMAZING!! The tour guide was so witty and personable and knowledgable and I was engaged the entire time. I loved learning facts about Brooklyn and was honestly sad when it ended....I could have kept going! Would def recommend as a fun fall/spooky activity to get in the spirit!

Tyler was so funny, my fiancé and I were cracking up at his jokes the whole tour. We loved the facts and giving out little prizes for trivia. Danny was also a really great driver, was pretty fast

I'm going to try to entice you and not spoil the experience because it is thoughtfully curated and should be experienced live, in person. We started with one of the inspirations for Ghostbusters! Right off the bat, I was hooked as I love that movie and anything Dan Aykroyd. We learned about a Secret cave in Central Park, the iconic Dakota Building, we passed by Needle Park, where "Waiting for Mr Goodbar" was filmed in 1977 (RIP Diane Keaton!), and saw, among other sites, where James Baldwin lived and discussed art and films, like "The Exorcist" with Toni Morrison. That was a fascinating film review to read and learn about! You finish the tour where Edgar Allan Poe wrote and first published one of the most famous poems ever written, "The Raven", in The New York Evening Mirror on January 29, 1845. I had no idea I lived so near to such fascinating history! I'm grateful to B.O.T.D. for being such cool teachers! I am very much looking forward to taking additional tours with you to continue this unique journey of my complex and beloved City.

From the time we signed up, to the time we boarded the plane to return home, TEP took care of every detail. We commented amongst ourselves that we felt like kids on vacation with our parents, as we didn't have to worry about any of the details - just show up and follow Neptali (our guide). From airport pickup in Cusco in luxury Mercedes vans where we were promptly served Coca tea to help with the altitude acclimation, to group dinners at amazing Peruvian restaurants, to historical tours and education on the history of the Inca - everything was covered and taken care of for us. And that was all before the amazing trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Of course the trek itself was the highlight of the trip, and although it was extremely challenging for us, TEP's unbelievable attention to detail did not fail us on the trail. With nearly a 2:1 porter to trekker ration, our every need was met on the trail. We dined like kings every meal, and were consistently amazed with the quality (and nutritional appropriateness) of the food our chef and sous chef were able to put out with minimal kitchen conveniences. The thing I felt was most special about TEP's approach to this trip was the focus on gaining a cultural and historical appreciation for what we were experiencing. Every step along the way, we learned about the native people of Peru, the Inca civilization, the many ruins we came across, the vegetation we saw and how it was and is used, and the history of modern Peru. It was the trip of a lifetime, and have the help of The Explorer's Passage made it so much more enjoyable, and so much more memorable. The value of what they provide is amazing for the cost....rather, for the investment. I highly recommend them!

Real New Yorkers are those who call the city their home, make her their home, and love her with all of their heart. Bruce is as New York in kindness of heart, deep thinking of mind, and generosity of spirit as they come. This is important to say because this tour is not only about Hamilton (and the monstrous success that is Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical) or Washington. This is a tour about New York and the influence these men had on molding her into who she has become. Almost analogous to Nora Ephron having NYC as a character in her films but just not corny (this coming from me who has watched You've Got Mail at least 25 times!). We took this tour in Sept 2017 and met in front of the US Customs House (today it's the home of the National Museum of the American Indian). This building is right opposite Bowling Green station. Bruce's website gives a nice overview of what you will see/discuss so I recommend reading the description so you have a general idea in your mind and then let the tour immerse you in history through his wonderful storytelling. I especially liked that Bruce walked us through a high-level chronological order of events. My personal favorite moments: -seeing a "3D" map of the city I would never have seen on my own -learning more about Eliza Schuyler Hamilton and her role in history and in Hamilton's life (the Smithsonian even published an article on her saying she is deserving of a musical of her own!) http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/why-elizabeth-hamilton-deserving-musical-her-own-180958214/ -Washington as a leader and his learnings from the Battle of Brooklyn/Battle of Long Island -Mother Nature's influence on helping the Patriots -the relationship between Hamilton and Burr. This tour is one of my favorites of all the ones I have taken in countless cities. Thank you Bruce for such a wonderful and knowledge-filled September 2017 day!

We chose the private family tour and booking was quick and easy and the customer service as great as I remembered. On to the tour itself: Luke met us at the Museum of Natural History on time and we got reacquainted. My son is autistic and can have some trouble warming to new people but absolutely no the case with Luke, he immediately put my son at ease and they were chatting like old friends as we made our way into Central Park. The tour covered loads of Central Park, including an exciting off track visit to a secret cave, the plaza hotel, grand central station, some fun subway rides, and concluded at the Brooklyn Bridge. But more than just seeing so many iconic sites, Luke had hundreds of facts and stories (which my son loved) about what we were seeing. It was truly like spending a wonderful day with an old friend. I cannot recommend highly enough Luke and Real New York Tours. Until next time!
