Disappointed with Service and Quality After Installation I chose Fox Windows to replace 47 windows based on their sales rep's assurances that the stucco would not be damaged during installation. Unfortunately, while the stucco was damaged and repaired, the final result was far from what was promised. The new windows left a noticeable gap between the stucco and the casing, and instead of using a proper color-matched silicone, they used a translucent one, leaving the gap looking unprofessional and unsightly. When I called to address the issue, an inspector came out and explained that, as of 2024, the company had changed its policy to only use translucent silicone. He assured me that upper management would review the situation. After a week, I was told I'd need to buy the paint myself to color match, even though this was an issue caused by their installation and policy change. I'm not a painter and feel this responsibility should fall on them. After several calls, the solution they proposed was for me to go to a local store with a piece of stucco to color match it myself. While I am hopeful that the interior trim repair (on 8 windows) will be done correctly, I am very disappointed with how the company has handled the stucco issue. The lack of accountability and customer care for a problem directly caused by their work has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope Fox Windows reconsiders their approach to customer service, as it has not been up to the standard I expected. As you can see from the pictures, the red was the before and the low quality of install after. Just so disappointed as i hope they will step up and fix it. Great marketing company but so far ive had 3 deferent people call me and no resolution after i spent over 60K Looks like I install my windows my self, not a window company.

    Garbage spilling into neighbours yard

Sales process was great. Nait was very helpful. Installation was a mess. We were quoted it would be two consecutive days. At 3 pm on day one I called the office to confirm they are coming back the next day, because it's currently 3 and they are half way done. The office said yes they will be back tomorrow. The installation crew then confirmed they wouldn't be back for another week or two. They worked late into the night trying to get most of the windows installed to make up for the fact that they wouldn't be in the next day. They worked into the dark and ended up damaging both windows that were installed in the dark. They also left a large mess in my yard and a pile of garbage in my neighbours yard. Thankfully they are replacing these two windows. The reason for the horrible review aside from the crazy install, is that one big thing wasn't disclosed to us in the sales process. It involves Vault pay. In the agreement signed with them they disclose that they can put a claim against your property for the amount owed. I read this as if they will file a claim against the property if you don't pay in time, but instead they do it right away as soon as they release the funds to green fox. I paid 100% in full within 30 days of a 90 day deferral period. About one month later I received a caveat forbidding registration from the land titles office that was filed 5 days into my deferral period.

I do not recommend GreenFox. The quality and service is terrible. The windows were installed October 2023 and as soon as it got cold the windows began to frost up. Even though they told me this was "normal" they replaced both. The replacement windows are the same poor quality. I strongly recommend that consumers look at other window companies and never purchase from GreenFox.

Have chosen to go with a different company after being asked to reschedule when the man of the house is available.

I am updating my review to reflect my direct experience with the Calgary project…read more My concerns are not related to aesthetics or minor preferences, but to the lack of clear disclosure, inconsistent guidance, and the final outcome not meeting the functional requirements that were clearly communicated. During the initial discussions, I specifically communicated that my primary requirement was to improve natural light and overall usability of the space. However, important product limitations were not disclosed at the time of decision-making. Specifically: * The impact of vinyl frame design on usable glass area was not explained prior to installation * This directly reduced the amount of natural light compared to what was discussed * This limitation was only clarified after installation had already progressed In addition, there was no written documentation in the contract or in any manufacturer materials provided indicating that adding a storm door could impact or void the warranty of the main entry door. This limitation was only communicated after installation through email. Even then, there was no clear, consistent, or actionable solution provided. At one-point, limited options were mentioned, but without a clear recommendation or a warranty-supported alternative. This resulted in a situation where: * A key limitation was not disclosed at the time of purchase * The customer is later restricted by that limitation * No clear or practical path forward is provided From an installation standpoint, the process raised additional concerns. Multiple service visits were required to address issues that, in my view, could have been avoided if the installation had been completed correctly the first time. During follow-up, a senior inspector from another team reviewed the work and identified issues that had not been addressed earlier. This highlighted inconsistencies in the initial installation work. There were also instances where basic installation details for basement windows, such as proper end dam handling, required clarification during inspection. This added to repeated visits, delays, and overall complexity of the project. While the Calgary team did respond and attempt to address concerns, the number of follow-ups and the need for escalation indicated gaps in execution and consistency. I appreciate that the team remained responsive after the issues were raised. However, for a project of this scale and cost, clear and complete communication at the outset -- along with consistent installation quality -- is essential. I also note that Window Mart's official response acknowledges that certain details could have been communicated more clearly. In this case, the issue is not just about expectations, but about key functional limitations not being fully explained at the time of decision-making. This experience highlights the importance of: * Getting written clarification on technical limitations * Understanding how product design affects actual functionality (not just appearance) * Ensuring installation quality and consistency from the beginning * Confirming compatibility and warranty implications before finalizing decisions This review reflects my actual experience so that other homeowners can ask the right questions and make fully informed decisions before proceeding with similar projects.

On installation day, the door had a major problem -- it required extreme effort to open and close. We didn't want it installed, but we were assured by All Weather that it could be fixed with adjustments. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the installer and made him tear off all the moulding and move the door half an inch. This did not solve the issue. We were then told the window had to be paid for in full before any warranty work would begin. We paid, with hesitation, believing it was our only option. Over the next several months, they returned multiple times -- often arriving without the proper parts or tools, and even forgetting which parts they had already replaced. Now, five months later (in September), the door is still not fixed or properly finished. Once All Weather realized they could not fix it, they dismissed the problem and told us it was "good enough," even though the door is still difficult to open and close and is missing weather stripping. As an elderly couple, this ordeal has been exhausting and stressful. After months of delays, excuses, and failed fixes, we cannot recommend All Weather At Home to anyone."

The windows were supposed to be 32 inches wide. We proceeded with the order come install day the windows are wider than we agreed upon and the installers say they can't keep our old trim and they didn't want to install any trim at all. We now have exposed framing. Our salesperson blew us off and so has some woman named Samantha. Due to their actions I had to drop more money on custom blinds and now I need to hire some to fix the mess they left behind. It has been over a month and they have not returned our calls and emails. I will be exploring my legal options. So my $4500 windows are costing me way more due to new custome blinds and repair/restoration work required.

We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline…read more We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these visits missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. They also damaged our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline and this was not an issue for any of their windows. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them, and of course I know this is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified. I do not have any hope that they will do anything. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. This is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company.
