After being dropped off by the tow truck driver 30 minutes before the location opened, the staff were generous enough to allow us inside to use the restroom and stay warm. We had been waiting on the side of the road since 4:30am, it was now 6:30am. The got us in to be seen by the mechanic first thing when he showed up. When they found out we were headed to a funeral they helped us secure a rental to get us there on time as the repair was likely to take most of the day. The staff absolutely went above and beyond, they did way more than they had to. I cannot express my gratitude. Casey, Rob, James, and Todd were the employees that helped us! Obtaining parts for vintage MB models can take weeks. Whenever possible after initial evaluation, they order the needed parts and call me and I take the vehicle in for replacements/service.

I needed evaporator core/blend door replacement, which was around $3,700. I was fine with price. However, I give it a few more days because April advised that the system from which they order parts had been hacked!! On day three, following the hack, I called to check status, and April stated "oh, I intended to call you yesterday, because you are going to need a drier, which is an additional $1,400.00." She went on to say, "because the drier would be exposed to the sun for a period of time, it has to be replaced or it will void your warranty on the evap core/blend door." Of course, that was lie according to Herring Gear!!!! To top it off, when I went to pick up my car, April "tried" to charge me $294, after telling me the diagnostics fee was $150. I asked to speak with a manager, and then the price dropped to $187. I will never recommend them for any big job, because it seems as if they are not equipped, unless, of course, they just didn't want to do the job!!! They may need to consider hiring a more professional secretary! I don't trust April.
