I received a delivery from my DH for our anniversary. I found the flowers just lacking. I know the color scheme he wanted. They are nice - but they are not meant to be one a table as it is not a full bouquet encompassing the whole base. And the blue colors are very soft blue; not a bright blue. I don't like to leave bad reviews. However, my husband will never order from this business again. My sister used to arrange bouquets for a living, so maybe my expectations are high. The arrangement has some beautiful flowers yes, but they could have been arranged better to make the bouquet more presentable to bring out the beauty. There was no aroma from the flowers which I found odd, I love the smell of fresh flowers. Most importantly, four of the flowers were broken and two of the roses were not perfect, I don't want to see parts of the rose with black on it from it dying already. This was an anniversary arrangement and it was finally delivered at 5: 30 pm. My husband hasn't sent me flowers in two years, so this was disappointing for me. When I called to inform the business that the flowers had broken pedals, there was no apology. I was told to place the flowers outside in the morning and a new arrangement would be delivered. It is now after 2 pm the next day and still, no flowers. I called to confirm they were still on the way, again, no apology. I can only assume their business is doing well to not even offer an apology. Highly disappointed. read more

I was sent flowers that were purchased via 1800FLOWERS and fulfilled by Greenbriar Florist. The flowers did not come as pictured, noting the pricier flowers were missing and what was sent was a basket of filler flowers. *Note-this is not the first time this has happened in general, with other florists as well. I think it's no coincidence that when this does happen I've never been sent too many roses or lilies (you know the expensive flowers). I wholeheartedly wish I could rate Greenbrier Florist a -0. I placed an order for a family member five days prior to the funeral service and discovered the almost $300 floral arrangement was delivered to a totally different recipient with the same last name. Although, my loved one's name was clear on the order form, the manager confirmed she took it upon herself to change the name of the recipient. No one authorized her to do this. This act was grossly negligent and I would never recommend this florist to anyone. Needless to say, she advised me of the floral arrangement being delivered during the funeral service which was a total and complete LIE. It was devastating enough being unable to attend the service. She robbed me of the opportunity to show my sympathy to my family and deceased loved one. Upon speaking with a family member, she confirmed the floral arrangement never arrived. How tacky and tasteless is that? I ordered a Garden Dish Succulent plant via "From You Flowers" as a birthday gift to a friend in Virginia Beach for her birthday yesterday (5/3). What she received was absolutely NOTHING like the picture I ordered. The succulents in the dish were dried up and basically dead. Not only was there a lack of quality in the item received but also in creativity. $77 for a dead plant ‍ how embarrassing. My friend moved away from her friends and family just before the holidays and her husband had been deployed since the beginning of the new year. With everything going on in the world today, I just wanted to bring a smile to her face on her special day. Instead, she received a very disappointing and pathetic, half dead plant. I ordered a large flower arrangement from 1 800 flowers and it was filled by Greenbrier Florist. When the flowers arrived they looked great. However by the following morning several off the flowers had started to die. After 2 days many of them had died. Flowers from our local Kroger for $12 last at least a week. I contacted 1 800 flowers to complain and they gave me a 50% refund and I thought that fair. I was shocked when at 6pm during a dinner with friends there was a pounding and multiple ringing at our door. It was the florist demanding we return the flowers. She was so angry. If you want your delivery to arrive late these are your people. Set up an order for delivery on 9/8 that was never delivered. Called the morning of 9/9 to check to see what was going on. Was told an attempt was made but no one answered and the driver didn't want to leave them in the rain. The recipient was home all day there's no way she or her dogs didn't hear the door. Had flowers delivered this week to my niece and there were several issues with this delivery. One of the flowers was dead in their arrangement and one was already browning. They sent the wrong balloon (I wanted a get well, they sent thinking of you) which wasn't a Big deal, but the issue was that it was about 3/4 inflated on arrival. How embarrassing! I did contact Teleflora who is the one that contracted with this florist for this particular delivery, and they (Teleflora) did credit me 30% for these issues which does not change the fact that it was very embarrassing that we delivered some thing like this to a very important family member. I won't be using Greenbriar florist again, or Teleflora for that matter. read more

I ordered a set for my wife for our anniversary and was hoping to surprise her at work with flowers. I called the company around 10 AM to see if they could provide me with a delivery time or estimated time. I received rude service right away but was told the flowers would be there before 4pm (the time she got off). Fast forwarding through the day, my wife gets home at about 430 without flowers. I'm not upset. I called the comps back to reroute to my home and they were horribly rude on the phone. Customer service was the worst. One star is one too many. Yelp does not provide option for zero stars. For business like this - they should. DO NOT throw your money away here - there are more reputable options in the area. I've ordered flowers, box of assorted chocolates (biggest they had) and a balloon for my wife for Mother's Day. On Monday when I got back from work I found from wife that only flowers have arrived. No biggie - I give the business a call, and lady said that they can deliver next day and would include an extra balloon or something "to make it right". Tuesday comes and goes - no chocolates or balloon. I call them again on Wednesday to be told that "the other manager" had set the items aside to be delivered "tomorrow". We spoke on Monday, she told me "tomorrow" and now tomorrow is 4 days later? I said never mind, at this point I would just like to be refunded my money. To which I was told that I'd have to call 1-800 number to do so. Oh, I was also on a 15 min hold with the business just to be hung up on prior to this call. Absolutely disastrous effort by Greenbrier Florist. Not only did they violate all Teleflora protocols by substituting flowers not called for in the online arrangement description, but it was not the size and beauty of the depicted arrangement. There was no pedestal for the pot, there were no succulents and live plants, and the decision to replace some flowers with other colors inflamed an already bad situation. You are required to provide a phone number when placing the order. Too bad Greenbrier Florist couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone to call the customer. It's also too bad and horrible form for them to pick up the phone to call the recipient.... and not the person who ordered and paid for the WRONG flowers to be delivered... made a bad situation even worse. I will NEVER order from them again and do not recommend them! I have taken the necessary measure of filing a formal complaint with Teleflora over the matter. read more

I ordered Mother's Day flowers via the FTD website for several out of state relatives. They I assume contract it out. I always ask for a picture of what they receive to compare to what I ordered.
