I was so sad when he went into a boutique practice. He was thorough, pleasant, and a good listener. as well as extremely competent.

I've always hated waiting multiple days for a medical provider's response to a question or request…read more But at Ravinia Associates (Endeavor), it is rare that I don't get a response by the end of the day -- often faster. In particular, APN Rebecca Shah has spoiled me, typically responding to my inquiries within an hour or two of of receiving my message via their portal. I've never received such timely service before, and her responsiveness is a major reason that I continue to utilize this practice.

Literally no doctor could see me right away in my area, the minute clinic was not interested in helping me, and any doctor or clinic accepting "walk in"s for that day and the next 2 were super far and I didn't wanna navigate confusing directions for 45-60 minutes with an arm that looked & feels like bloody ABC gum. I just wanted a doctors opinion, it dressed adequately, and some hugs from my sweet black Yorkie doggie. As a last resort I started searching local doctors & called here. The receptionist I spoke to tried her damnedest to get me in immediately but couldn't so I had to wait for Monday AM. I liked they had a shared covered parking garage with free parking, they are in walking distance of the Metra and bus, and that the waiting room was very spacious and they have free WiFi. The wait was moments after check in. I saw Dr. Breger who was very personable, calm, and respectful. He also seems very knowledgable (I'd expect that since he is a teaching affiliate of University of Chicago School of Medicine). I wouldn't hesitate to visit again for check up hopefully not an illness or bite. Or a less boring one, like a vampire or ware wolf bite. Then again he didn't do a ware wolf test. Howl Howwwwwwl (yelps at the moon)

My Daughter has suffered from SPS (Stiff Person Syndrome) for years and has undergone debilitating…read moreplasmapheresis treatments approximately every 6 weeks at an area Hospital. These Treatments compromised her immune system for Days afterwards. At times she had to use a wheelchair, couldn't drive and was pretty much confined to her home. Being a single mother became more difficult. But she did her best. The SPS Specialist told her there was no cure and the disease had no remission possibility. She seemed to be getting slowly worse. Then she tried Raden Wellness. The Staff was very professional and encouraging. They designed a specific treatment for her and began administering it to her. I was a skeptic. But she began to show impressive improvement. To cut to the chase.....Eventually she went back to see the Specialist and he said that she was in total remission and there was no sign of the disease in her at all anymore. In short, Raden gave her her Life back and I am a skeptic no more, as the results speak (loudly) for themselves. Our Family is now joyful and Thankful for what Raden Wellness has done for her. THANK YOU!

(I was mismatched with the wrong subject area to begin with.) Not to mention...horrid note taking and often had to request my visit summaries with detailed doctor notes which were hurried at best. Inconsistent lab quality - bizarre results other doctors even questioned. Unclear on their lab storage and transportation practices. Lab draws- one of the most painful needle insertions of my life and I have highly visible veins! Poorly trained or very distracted nurses here and there. For some lab tests they make the patient do the paperwork! Other functional medicine practices (all seem to lack operational funding) at least manage this aspect of care. And overall, my previous provider missed a lot of key markers. I'm grateful for some initial tests but the root cause could have been identified with the right tests I did with another practice. And their peptides are priced higher for same amount than other places.

HIGHLAND PARK HOSPITAL: THE PATIENT IS THE QUARTERBACK!…read more Approximately two or three months ago, I was admitted to Highland Park Hospital following an accidental lithium overdose resulting from a medication error at a rehabilitation facility. My condition was serious enough to require dialysis. I stayed approximately one month, and what an extraordinary experience it turned out to be! The staff didn't simply address my immediate medical crisis. They helped me improve my eating habits, worked with me on my existing physical mobility challenges, and encouraged me to become an active participant in my own recovery. By the time I left, my health had improved enormously. I was sitting upright in an easy chair, making meaningful progress with my mobility, and had learned about using the HoverMatt patient transfer system. But what makes Highland Park Hospital truly special is something much bigger than any individual medical treatment. THIS HOSPITAL UNDERSTANDS TEAMWORK! From the nurses and CNAs providing immediate patient care, to the kitchen staff, nurse practitioners, physicians, technicians, maintenance personnel, billing professionals, therapists, and everyone in between--THIS PLACE HAS IT! And the beautiful thing about their team spirit? THE PATIENT IS THE QUARTERBACK! You aren't simply a medical case, a room number, or someone waiting for the next procedure. You're a human being, a respected participant, and an essential member of the team working toward your own recovery. They treat you with dignity. They listen. They encourage you. And perhaps most importantly, they create an environment in which genuine TRUST can develop between patients and caregivers. There was also another remarkable aspect of my stay: the attention to patients' intellectual and emotional well-being. When you're hospitalized for an extended period, boredom, isolation, and the feeling of simply vegetating can become overwhelming. Not here! Even when I wasn't interacting with staff, I could enjoy excellent television programming, including fascinating, thought-provoking movies and documentaries. Some explored compelling subjects, while others took me on visual journeys across our beautiful planet, revealing extraordinary landscapes, cultures, and the wonders of our world. For me, that stimulation was part of maintaining my curiosity, optimism, and determination to recover. And now, I must recognize two extraordinary individuals. ANGELICA AND ADELE! These two people made a permanent, positive difference in my health, my attitude, and my outlook on life. There were so many other outstanding staff members whose names I cannot presently recall, and I sincerely wish I could acknowledge every one of them. But Angelica and Adele hold a particularly special place in my memories of Highland Park Hospital. I would dearly love to reconnect with them and personally express just how profoundly they influenced me. Ultimately, what makes this hospital exceptional is not simply that its individual professionals know their jobs. It's that they work together, respect one another's contributions, and include the patient as a genuine partner. Highland Park Hospital understands that healing involves the body, the mind, the spirit, and the human relationships that make recovery possible. They helped me rebuild not only my health but my confidence and trust. And THAT is healthcare worth celebrating!

I don't know about you all, but there are some places you know you never want to have to do a…read morereview for. This is one of those times for me. On Dec 7th, 2025, The Doctor was suffering from what we thought was heartburn. He took the usual actions to relieve the pain, but nothing was working. On Dec 8th, he had some ginger ale through a straw to help make him burp. About 15 min later, he was sweating, had a fever of 103 degrees and was shaking. I rushed him in the car and we head to Evanston Hospital (that will be a different review). We got to the emergency room and The Doctor was admitted right away. Several test and a CT scan revealed that a large gallstone had gotten stuck in his duct and caused all kinds of back-up and infection. The liver enzymes were off the chart and he had pancreatitis. The Doctor was in so much pain that he was given morphine multiple times and placed on massive antibiotics to deal with the infection. It was decided that a stent needed to be put into the duct to open it up and then remove the gallbladder. Problem was, there were no available beds and they felt that the procedures needed to move fast, so they found him a bed at Highland Park. He was transported by ambulance and by the time I got his things and got to the hospital, he was already in his room. The Doctor had the stent put in that Monday and the gallbladder removed that Tuesday. He was in the hospital for five days, so I worked remotely in his room. The room was really nice and I liked the set up they had. There was this seating arrangement that looked like a sofa, but it was split in middle with a table between two seating areas. I was able to work comfortably there the entire five days. The bathroom was very clean and large, with plenty of room for someone on a walker to get in and out. The Doctor did not use it initially because he was hooked up to a lot of tubes for antibiotics and monitoring. The staff came in every day though to clean the room and the bathroom. Sheets were changes when The Doctor was out of the room, but not everyday. This was not a problem since The Doctor was no mobile the entire time he was there. The Docs, Nurses and Staff were all very nice, constantly checking in on The Doctor and even asking me if there was anything I needed. The food was actually ok in terms of the menu The Doctor was allowed to eat from, although he was not all that hungry. There was a liquid and full liquid diet, then he went to a full diet. When he could eat, he got a cod dinner and a burger on the days he could eat. I had several bites and it definitely needed some seasoning, but a little tajin fixed it up for me. The hospital itself was clean and the check-in staff were nice. The cafeteria is an experience as it is in the basement. You will definitely get in a lot of steps getting there and back to your loved one. There is also a small self serve market on the first floor that has quick fixes for snacks, meals and drinks. In the main area is a digital Starbucks machine if you want a quick coffee. And several times I ran into these robots, who were on their way someplace. One got on the elevator with me. I have no idea why, but I did say "Hey what's up?" to it just in case...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I see this hospital has a low Yelp rating and I am not discounting those Yelper's experiences. My review reflects me and The Doctor's experience during a five day stay with them and I feel they went above and beyond for both us. Don't want to go back there, but if there was a need to, I would be ok

Insurance industry and corporate profit margins marginalize these doctors when they should be viewed as the ones who are of greatest importance. If North Shore were to view them as a lost leader and cut their patient load in half so that these doctors could spend more time learning their patients instead of having to rely upon their notes it would be great. If these doctors where required to constantly take continuing education courses to learn about the newest research instead of relying upon drug company propaganda it would be great. If these doctors were required to put on health education seminars for their patient base it would be great. If they were given some empowerment from their institution to tell big insurance companies, when in their medical opinion, insurance is WRONG. North shore has the power and resources to fight back against insurance companies trying to back seat drive for our doctors. NorthShore has the knowledge that it is PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS who are burdened with having to know the widest range of materials and being generalists. My apparently was today 2-2-26 at 2pm. Apparently they open at 9 am and I get a call at 10:30 saying there is no doctor there that day (yet when I scheduled that day there was in fact a doctor going to be there) so you are telling me you don't know that your doctor isn't going to be there until the day of? Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. The day they take off would be a nice start to call the people who have done their part to make an appointment.

I heard wailing, crying, vomiting and a host of other sounds, all from other people in the ER, all waiting to be seen. I feel for them, this is a terrible situation to be in. When I left the hospital after 10 pm, there were just as many, if not more, people in the ER. The ER and nursing staff were helpful and caring. They did what they could do in a very busy, understaffed situation. While my relative's situation is uncertain, I did not appreciate several calls from Endeavor's palliative care department. This was upsetting and scary and I was unprepared for such a call.

Fraudulent Charges!!…read more On February 24, we sent a message to a doctor who helped our son with a broken finger. We sent the message to check whether we could cancel a follow-up visit that seemed unnecessary to us, and the doctor replied that it would be fine to cancel. A few days later, we received a bill for sending that message. In all the years we have used Endeavor, we have never been charged for sending messages. And nowhere on the web portal does it indicate that customers will be charged for sending a message to their doctor. I called Endeavor and a representative said this is a new policy. I explained that we were never charged before, and there is no indication anywhere on the site that we would be charged for sending a message, but the representative said the charge stands. I have lodged complaints with various state agencies, and have left reviews detailing this unethical behavior. This is terrible, awful service that only encourages patients NOT to reach out to their doctors with concerns.
