I have had my Lab work done in the morning and by 2 pm I had my results!! I also have had a MRI done and had the same experience. The staff are both friendly, caring and efficient . Your appointment for a follow is done before you leave and followed up by a email confirming. I have recently switch Doctors from another area and I couldn't be happier with my new Doctor. She's young and does a very intense exam on your first visit. Even though the building is dated a bit, it has the Lab and imaging either in the same building or located behind the building. Also they use the Healow app so you can go on and check all your lab results. Very satisfied with my recent change.

Now, he might have a specialty; however if he is working at a walk-in, he has an obligation to treat patients for the illnesses they came in fir...even if they dont fall into his area of specialty. Walk-in doctors should respect patients' rights to refuse testing--particularly for illnesses entirely unrelated to the reasons they sought out the walk-in in the first place. The fact that I had to keep saying "No, im not interested...Please just help me with my sore throat like I came in for" is awful. Incessant badgering and rude behavior are never acceptable in any profession; but in the medical profession I feel there should be extra care taken to show respect and kindness to patients. When I finally managed to get the doctor to accept the fact that I was not willing to get tested for any of his areas of interest, he began to leave without even addressing the sore throat I came in for in the first place! I literally had to call him back and REMIND him of the whole reason I came to the clinic. I have never felt more disrespected and mistreated in a professional setting than I did during this appointment.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and professional...it was a really good experience during check in. My doctor came into the room right on time and performed the annual check up. Had Made 3 phone calls during those weeks as follow up to ask where is the nurse with the script . After the second week of no action we called Boston and Ended up going to mass general, had an appointment in a week and script approved 3 days after that. It had been 8 weeks since first diagnosis. After we had already had our appointment with the dr at Mgh and script already approved, we Finally got a call from university G.I. specialty script nurse. Told her we had already gone somewhere else. Instead of apologizing she got defensive??? said they are very busy. So we are so glad we went somewhere else. If they are too busy, why not let the patient know ahead of time??? 5 weeks just to submit a specialty script? When your bleeding in your bum. They might be ok for colonoscopies but I guess Too Busy for treatment.

As a nurse I'm picky about my providers and despite moving to the other side of Providence I've kept coming here because it's a great practice.
