Worst acai bowl ever had, i ask them to add bananas, otherwise a super Grumpy Juice Lady gave me acai juice with 1 spoon gronola Id make it 8 times better by spendin $8 by my own. I like this shop a lot! They have a great selection of vitamins and supplements and it's the only type of store like this near 31st street. It's a little pricy but it's quality items and they staff are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have about their supplies. read more

Outrageously overpriced and nasty rude service. I stopped in to get a protein shake after the gym and was ignored. I stood at the smoothie counter for a few moments, while the employee stood there at his computer ignoring me. I said hello, and he sneered at me, looking like I was bothering him for daring to wait on line and expect to place an order. If you don't want to serve customers and instead play on your computer while working, here's a thought-- do so on your personal time. So I just walked out. Hemp powder is part of my supplementary diet so I stopped in to check out the prices really. The place smells great! I think it's from all the vitamins escaping out of the packages or the smoothie/juice bar in back. Walk in a it's bright with the purpose of the store on spot. There are lots and lots and lots of vitamins, supplements and some healthy treats. Everything isn't too expensive but it's not cheap either. I guess Greenbay Organic Market is doing well enough to open this place just across the street. it's a new place to get supplements. Not too small or big of a shop. read more

I ordered deordorant on their website. The description clearly said 3 items for the price. When I received Deodorant it was only 1 item. I called customer service explained the situation to him. He agreed with me that it does show 3 items. I asked if I could get a refund he said yes but I have to pay for shipping. Green Bay organics is great. The staff is friendly and professional and their juices are always very fresh. They're made to order and made rather quickly and everyone's always in a great mood and very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. I highly recommend this place but please note that they are a bit pricey. They have a point system that doesn't make much sense and they could offer more promotions and discounts to regular customers or just adjust their pricing. I've seen supplements and vitamins there which I've serb on Amazon for $10-$15 less expensive. read more

I have reviewed this store in the past and given it five stars - The sushi bar is GREAT, the vegetables and fruit are perfect - the staff are friendly - its fantastic - i buy all of my work supplies for events etc here and purchase a lot of my groceries here. I know the manager and have asked several times why they continue to use plastic bags - plastic everything, utensils, bags, sushi containers - how the hell can you say your organic and charge more yet not focus on the environment. I have two children who ask me every time why it comes in plastic I respect a business that makes moves towards what is right before being mandated to doing so. This place is great. They have many vegan options for each vitamin which I really appreciate. It's also organized super well with huge labels on each section so you can easily run in and find what you need. Their prices are pretty comparable with what other local vitamin stores in the area/city charge. Their staff is friendly and will offer help if you need it or have questions about different products. read more

I used to go to this place a lot but their bait and switch on their kombucha really bothered me. They sold 8$ bottles/growlers that you can refill for 11$ but they now raised the price to $14/$15 per refill. It is now actually cheaper to go across the street to the greenbay market and buy 4 kombuchas that will cost you only 14$ (2 for $7) and not have to pay for a bottle. I know its a strange thing to complain about but they make you buy this huge bottle to only jack the prices up. If you are looking for kombucha get it from the supermarket. At least that way you can get a few flavors and not have to worry about the over priced 64 oz of one flavor going flat on you. read more

A great store! I was walking down Broadway, on my way to catch a bus to LGA for a flight, when I had the thought that I needed a couple health-related items -- and then, a minute later, I stumble across Greenbay Essentials. (Ask and ye shall receive, right?) What's more, they not only had everything I needed (including some hard-to-find goodies), but prices were reasonable, and there was even a juice/coffee bar and a delightful garden dining area (where I took the chance to rest up before finishing my trek to Roosevelt Station). To top off my experience, the folks in the store were friendly and kind. In a nut: no problems, and I'd definitely stop by again. A big thank-you to everybody at Greenbay Essentials.
