The very kind and helpful staff at the automotive section of Walmart really saved our bacon!…read more Literally, since we had baked on asphalt on one front tire that meant that any speed we drove over 60 resulted in a shimmy shake worthy of my sister Kate! After trying to remove the asphalt by driving one tire on the rumble strip, we exited the freeway and sought help. The tire store at the truck stop was useless, so we Yelped tires and located the Walmart automotive center. It was located behind the store so it was not visible from the street. After a few minutes of explanation they pulled the car into the tire bay. The almost new tire was fine, just coated in one spot with lumpy asphalt! We didn't need a new tire! While waiting inside the store we Googled asphalt removal and discovered the good old WD -40would do the job! We had to back out of the tire bay since the store couldn't use the product on the tire. We bought the large regular formula and sprayed down the tire. And waited a while...like ten minutes. The poet gooey asphalt started to melt, and we were able to drive away, shedding asphalt with every rotation of the wheel! Thanks Walmart for being so honest!

I am not an employee of Walmart, I do not get an employee discount. So my question to you is why do I shop there if I do the work and take others jobs? I don't want to ring up my groceries, don't want to bag them, get checked as I leave your store. I don't mind people who are other than US citizens HOWEVER I expect people who can speak English when I ask a question in your store. If you want US dollars then pay English speaking people who can give "CUSTOMER SERVICE " and represent your store. I have never seen your groceries go down in price ever, always up!

Just passing through!…read more While out on an adventure, we pass this little local grocery! The "real local," here in a sleepy little town. Wow it's a must see ! It's a great little grocery store with lots of local individuals that call this little town home . It's small and sleepy, and small . But this local neighborhood market has all that they need . It's not a Walmart or Kroger, but it's probably better . The neighborhood store where everyone knows your name . And all can keep a secret! Shhhh, this is not a secret . If you're in the area get your local supplies for the journey ahead to wherever your destination takes you . As we walked around the store we needed road snacks. We drifted to the bakery area where they had some sort of apple pastry. It had to come along for the trip . We did notice awards to the baking practices to those that cook for the community. Kudos . And those apple pastries were amazing. We are off to the races and have been able to spread the secret joys of this local market to you all . Stop in next time your in t

Meanwhile the local Lins in Overton NV is is remarkably high priced on staple foods. If it doesn't change these old folks are looking at starvation in the United States!!! This is not capitalism when your prices use no competitive edge but only money on the table as a philosophy. You should be ashamed.

We've spent hundreds of dollars at Red Mountain Market. Sadly, a few days ago, I was rudely confronted by the cashier, who I believe may have been the owner, Todd Muse. I came to the store to shop and ask a question about something I may have lost near the counter the other day (a pack of Hormel meals). However, no one was even at the register when I went in. Next thing I know, the cashier come sover and starts telling me I need to leave the bags in the front of the store. He then boxes me in and corners me there near the entrance like I'm some ruffian out to rob the place. I understand that businesses have policies to protect themselves from theft and loss. That's not really the issue. The issue was the way I was approached and made to feel as though I was doing something wrong simply by walking into the store with bags. I was treated like I was some kind of thief or a criminal for coming in with bags and looking at some protein noodles in an aisle of the store. I had come there as a paying customer, not as someone looking to cause trouble. And I can't shake this feeling that I was treated differently because of the way I look. That feeling became even worse when I read another review complaining about being treated differently in this store by an individual matching the description of the cashier because of a similar reason. I then asked about the item I thought I may have left behind a few days earlier. Instead of looking, checking, or even seeming willing to help, my question was immediately dismissed with, "Well, there's nothing we can do at this point." That really bothered me. I wasn't asking anyone to perform an exhaustive search. I was simply asking whether something might have been turned in or left near the register. It would've taken two seconds for the cashier to turn his head and look over the counter to see if my package of Hormel meals was still there. He couldn't even do that. It felt like he just wanted me out. So, I left. I left without spending another cent. And I never intend to spend another cent there. What makes the experience especially disappointing is that my family had become regular customers. We've spent hundreds of dollars there over the past several weeks. We specifically chose to support this small local business rather than automatically going to Walmart or Smith's. There were products we bought so frequently that we would joke that we were the reason they kept selling out. You know, if he hadn't treated me like that, I probably would've purchased all the protein noodles rather than ordering them on Amazon the next day. I probably would've continued to buy out the Hebrew National hotdogs and buy my wife the Red Button ice cream she loves. But no more. I don't expect special treatment because I've spent money there. I do, however, expect to be treated like a valued customer rather than with suspicion and dismissal. I strongly believe in supporting local businesses. But supporting local has to work both ways. Customers should also feel welcomed, appreciated, and treated with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable shopping at Red Mountain Market.

I also don't understand why everything here cost a dollar less than it does in San Luis Obispo. This is a benefit for everybody here and we drop in here every time we're in town. I love the wine selection as well as the cheese selection, and the salad bar has expanded so that you can include hot food selections in the salad. I made a creative salad on a bed of spinach with my favorite Mediterranean items, black olives, stuffed grape leaves, chickpeas, and beets. This Hardy salad was good for a couple meals, and I also grabbed a couple bottles of vitamin water, which is one of my go to beverages when I'm traveling We stocked up on some healthy fruit and fruit juices as well as bread and eggs for our morning meal. We haven't tried the new taproom yet, but it looks like it would be well worth visiting and the name suggests that they may serve alcoholic beverages there although we haven't explored that option yet.

Date of visit: October 18, 2026…read more I rarely would visit Whole Foods back home and since I'm new to Vegas, I thought I would pop in and see what this one was like as I was already at Town Square. Didn't really realize that the parking lot near TJ Maxx was actually the back side of the building but that wasn't a big deal as spots were plentiful and I don't mind a walk. The store was in good condition, though the lighting seemed a bit dim compared to the one back in Milwaukee. The aisles were a bit cramped in some sections that made it hard to get back to the front if there was already a shopper in the aisle, but I located the handful of items that I needed relatively quickly and easily and swiftly made it through self-checkout. Should I find myself at Town Square in need of some groceries, I would certainly pop in here again.
